The duties of an engineer-technologist of the first category are much wider than those of a specialist with a second or third degree. The duties of a process engineer at such an enterprise are very extensive, in addition to purely professional knowledge, he must perfectly master the PC, know the entire technological chain of production and the machine tool park of the enterprise, competently write technical processes, develop various standards and graphics.

Engineer-technologist, whose duties are not limited to this, is the elite of a modern enterprise. Such an expert should possess encyclopedic knowledge not only in his field, but also in related ones. It is desirable to be fluent in one or more foreign languages, be erudite and intellectually developed. The prestige of this profession rises every year and therefore it is not easy to enter a technological or technical university.
