How to quit right.

In the life of any person there may come a time when you have to change your place of work. How to quit right, so as not to lose business ties and stay in excellent relations with the team and management? This question bothers everyone. Very often the decision to leave is taken by the employee spontaneously, under the influence of strong emotions. But later it becomes clear that it was erroneous and the problem could be solved. Therefore, no matter what conflict you have in your workplace, it is not worth to throw in anger the statement about the dismissal of the head to the table. Calm down and correctly assess the situation. Before you leave, you should think carefully about all the pros and cons that this work gives you. And if there are any possible changes that will help you not to leave your place, then you should definitely work it out.

You do not have enough salary or do you want to develop further? Be sure to discuss these issues with your supervisor. It is possible that these issues will be resolved to your mutual satisfaction. You will have prospects, and the boss will not have to lose a qualified employee. But, in no case do not blackmail and do not put forward ultimatums when talking with the leader. This manner of behavior will not give a positive result.

If you are determined to leave, then before you quit your job, be sure to find a new one. Do not go into the unknown. Always remember, the more the gap between jobs, the less becomes your value as a qualified employee. When choosing a new job, do not advertise your decision in the company. You can always change your mind about leaving, and a negative opinion about you will remain. Unlawful employees are in the forefront of dismissal.

Having made a firm decision to leave, apply and sign it from your supervisor. It will take two more weeks to work out to put things in order and hand over the case, and also to put in the course of your receiver. But there are several cases where you can leave without working off. This can be done by employees who pass the probationary period for admission to permanent work. If in your employment contract there is a note on the three months of the probationary period, and it is not over yet, then you must calculate within three days of the filing of the dismissal application. If your manager refuses to let you go and does not want to sign an application, you need to know how to quit in that case. The signature of the manager is not so necessary. Write the application in two copies and register it as incoming mail from the secretary, leaving one copy at home. Be sure to note down the number and date of registration. From that moment the countdown began 14 days before the dismissal. Do not want to register in person? Send a letter with a notification through the mail. All correspondence must be registered.

There are several other good reasons why you can pay without additional work. These include:

  • Retirement.
  • Moving to a new place of residence in another city.
  • Conscription.
  • Enrollment in the educational institution for full-time.
  • The direction of the wife or husband to work abroad or to a new place of military service.

This list can be expanded, because it is not clearly defined in the Labor Legislation . Therefore, the employer considers each case separately and decides whether the reason for dismissal is respectful.
