How to make a dishwashing detergent?

Household chemistry today is in every house, and many housewives do not imagine how to manage without them. In Europe, it was popular to use algae for the same purpose, and to remove the remnants of burnt food used brick crumb or fine sand. Later, they began washing dishes with a solution of soap or rinsing with hot potato broth, and the coating from the porcelain and faience surfaces was removed with soda. As for silver cutlery, they were carefully rubbed with chalk to achieve a perfect shine.

Mustard powder

One of the simplest and cheapest ways to wash off fat from the surface of plates, cups, spoons and pots is dry mustard. It is sold in any store and perfectly cleanses the dishes. To obtain an effective and harmless means you will need:

  • 50 g of ordinary household soap (you can divide a standard 200-gram piece into 4 parts);
  • 2 tbsp. L. Soda (calcined);
  • 1.5 liters. Boiling water;
  • A little of any essential oil.

Consider the order of preparation:

  • Soap grate and melt in a metal bowl in a water bath, gradually pouring 1 tbsp. Boiling water;
  • When you get a homogeneous mass, put the dishes with a soap solution on a small fire;
  • Add the remaining water, mix and bring to a boil;
  • Remove soapy solution from heat, pour in soda ash and mix thoroughly;
  • Add essential oil (if you do not have allergies to it);
  • When the gel is slightly cooled, pour it into a bottle with a dispenser, for example, into an empty container from the used dishwashing liquid.

Cleansing paste to remove strong contaminants

A dishwashing detergent with its own hands, which has abrasive properties, is prepared as follows: 100 g of soap (household) rubbed on a grater and, pouring in a bowl 250 g of boiling water, mix until a homogeneous consistency. Then the following components are added:

  • 10 g of glycerin;
  • 50 g of mustard powder;
  • 1 tbsp. L. Coffee grounds or lemon zest;
  • Some food flavor (if there is a desire).

Mix all the ingredients with a mixer and transfer the resulting paste into a jar with a lid. Such a dishwashing detergent made with your own hands will help not only to remove fat, but also to wipe off the remains of burnt food from pots or pans. You can store it for 2-3 months, or even longer.

Washing liquid for dishes on the grandmother's recipe

Prepare a gel that does not contain any harmful components, is simple enough. To do this, you will need:

  • 25 grams of soap (household);
  • 1 tbsp. L. Diluted alcohol or vodka;
  • 4 tbsp. L. Glycerine.

Using a grater get soap shavings and pour it 2 tbsp. L. Boiling water. Put the dishes in the microwave for a few minutes, so that the soap is melted. Get out and, mixing, add the remaining water. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until homogeneous. In slightly adulterated form pour the solution into a plastic bottle or other container and use as needed. What a simple means!   • 25 g (10 whole nuts with removed bones) put in a cotton pouch and put in enameled dishes, which had previously been filled with ½ liter. water;
  • Boil (about 15 minutes);
  • Allow to cool slightly;
  • Knead the bag of nuts with your hands, rubbing softened fruits in it;
  • Periodically squeeze the bag and re-immerse in the solution, so that all the useful substances are transferred to the washing liquid;
  • Remove the nuts and pour "soap" in the dishes.

Store the "nut" gel in the refrigerator and use it as an ordinary store.

A few tips

If you do not have time to prepare a dishwashing detergent with your own hands, then listen to the following recommendations:

  • Get a dishwasher, as when using it, rinsing is much more intense than with manual washing;
  • With manual washing, try to rinse the dishes as carefully as possible;
  • Using a concentrated shop liquid, do not apply it directly to the surface of plates, pans and pans, but squeeze a few drops onto a damp sponge and foam it;
  • Try never to rinse the dishes, processed by the store, into the pelvis or in another container with water;
