Economic analysis of the enterprise

In a modern market economy, great importance is attached to the quality training of leading cadres. Specialists today should be able not only to make correct and competent decisions, but also, if necessary, take responsibility and initiative on themselves, take risks. At the same time, the manager must take into account continuous changes in the company's external and internal environment.

The economic analysis of the enterprise is one of the most effective management methods. It is also the main component of justifying decisions. Properly conducted economic analysis of the enterprise allows us to work out the tactics and strategy for further development of the company. In addition to justifying the decisions and approved plans, control over their implementation is carried out, a comparison of marketing activities is carried out, involving a comparison of actual events with those expected for a specific time interval.

At the same time, an internal and external evaluation of the financial condition of the company is conducted. The purpose of this event is to understand the level of liquidity, stability, solvency of the organization. Internal financial assessment of the enterprise is necessary to determine the degree of efficiency of the use of current and fixed assets, the study of the relationship between the indicators of profit, cost and volume of production.

Applying various means, the head examines the external and internal environment of the organization. In this case, not only an analysis of the enterprise as a whole, but also an assessment of the work of structural units.

A qualified manager today must possess knowledge not only about general laws and trends of development in the conditions of the modern market, but also to understand the manifestations of private, specific and general laws within the framework of the activities of a specific company.

First of all, the economic analysis of the enterprise develops at the microlevel - at the level of isolated enterprises and their divisions. These lower links (regardless of the form of ownership) form the basis of the system of market relations. At the same time, all processes occurring at enterprises should be considered in the interaction of the external and internal environment, in accordance with the dynamic changes, social and political aspects of social development.

The economic analysis of an enterprise (in the modern sense) is a system of scientific means. Being a specific type of management activity, this research precedes the decision-making, and also predetermines and clarifies them.

Economic analysis allows you to study the object from all sides. This process involves the initial processing of information. Comparison of the achieved results with the data for prior periods is performed, with average industry indicators, as well as data at other enterprises. At the same time, the impact of various factors on the outcome is assessed, mistakes, shortcomings, prospects are identified, unused opportunities are identified.

In accordance with the results of the work done, plans and all managerial decisions are developed and justified . Thus, with the help of economic analysis, the manager ensures the efficiency and objectivity of the enterprise. In other words, this work is seen as an activity necessary to optimize solutions.

As practice shows, the importance of economic analysis as a managerial method increases every year. The reasons are different factors. Mainly, this trend is connected with the need to constantly increase the efficiency of production, with the development of market relations, the "denationalization" of the economy and other transformations.
