Management activities and its main aspects

In the modern world, management activities play a crucial role, since the reputation of an economic entity depends on the quality of its conduct , the success of its interaction with partners and other contractors. It, albeit indirectly, but still affects the productivity of enterprises and organizations.

The essence of management activity is the competent organization of people's interaction in collective work with the goal of achieving the basic tasks of production. Its main feature is the fact that it is necessary to influence the subject, that is, people, and human psychology is a subtle science that requires the presence of certain skills and knowledge.

Management activity presupposes the creation of such an atmosphere in the team and this attitude to each employee, which would stimulate them to perform the functions necessary for the management of the enterprise. An organized human resource management system must take into account internal and external conditions. The first concerns the need to solve several very complicated tasks, sometimes contradicting previously prescribed norms. The external ones presuppose the existence of information limitations, a high degree of responsibility for financial indicators characterizing the efficiency of production activities, as well as the possibility of unforeseen situations associated with changes in the political or economic situation in the country.

In order for managerial activity to work clearly and smoothly, the leader should find a compromise between positioning himself as an indisputable leader and the same member of the general team, like everyone else. When a low-level employee feels support and understanding of the leadership, when there is a friendly note in the hierarchical relationship, the team feels unity, this naturally has a positive effect on the company's productivity.

The main link in the management system is considered to be the manager, since it is his responsibility to create the most positive and productive atmosphere in the team. He has the right to choose a specific model of behavior, among which one can distinguish such types of management activities as authoritarian, democratic or liberal position of the head. With an authoritarian approach, he is considered an undisputed leader, and his word - by law, so it is forbidden to challenge it. Liberalism allows employees to do what they consider necessary in this situation, without prior advice from the boss. The democratic system is the most productive, as it involves joint decision-making, which means that they will fully satisfy both sides.

Management activities, like any system, include certain components:

- Definition of the main goals of the manager and their competent explanation to the staff, careful development of the action plan for the forthcoming period.

- Implementation of measures to create effective motivating levers of influence.

- Clear statement of a number of tasks that employees need to implement, and distribution of appropriate orders.

- Delegation and control over the results of their work.

- Reflection, that is, the presence of feedback.

A specialist engaged in managerial activities must have the character of a leader, with employees be confident, give clear and clear instructions. The present leader should be dedicated to every stage of the production process and to understand a particular area, only literacy will allow him to respond in a timely manner in the event of unforeseen situations.

The moment of communication with the personnel is very important, it is not necessary to order the employee, it is better to ask. The more time you spend with each of your subordinates, the more productive your interaction will be.
