Trend this season

If desired, a geometric manicure can decorate all the nails, but only one or several can be. The nail is divided into symmetrical or different elements, the color solution can be classical, contrast, bright. Manicure with rhombuses is additionally decorated with acrylic powder, sparkles and other elements.

This version of the nail design is completely based on the mixing of gel-varnishes. To perform a manicure selects the main color, which is gradually mixed with white - so you get a smooth transition from one shade to another.

This design visually makes the nails longer and hides some disadvantages of the nail plate. Manicure gradient diamonds are perfectly matched with many styles in clothing.

Necessary tools and materials

To perform the perfect manicure with gel-lacquer you will need:

  • A lamp for drying;
  • Top and base for covering the nails with gel-varnish;
  • Primer and degreaser;
  • Gel-lacquer base and white (they should be the same texture, it's better if they are funds of one brand);
  • A palette or a foil for mixing of varnishes;
  • Thin brush.

How to make a manicure rhombic step by step

The first step is to prepare the nails for the design. They need to be pruned, manicured, cut out the cuticle and polish the edges with a saw blade. With a soft baffle, the nail plates need to be roughened. Further on the nails should be applied degreasing agent, cover them with a base, sealing the ends, and send to the lamp.

To perform a manicure with rhombuses, the marigolds are covered with a white gel-varnish and sent to dry in a lamp. Next, you need a palette or foil. It needs to drip white and colored gel-varnish a short distance from each other. To a white varnish it is necessary to mix absolutely slightly the basic color. The resultant shade draws a kind of fence (a crown of triangles), slightly receding from the beginning of the nail, painted over and sent to a lamp.

Next, in the resulting shade, you need to add a little more of the base color, so that the new shade becomes slightly darker. This color draws the next row of triangles, placing them in a checkerboard pattern with respect to the first row. The nail is again sent to the lamp for drying.

In the same way come with each successive series. The final row of triangles at the edge of the nail is painted with the main color, without stirring it with white. It is necessary to try to place all the color range on the nail so that the transition looks more natural.

At the end, the marigolds are sent to be dried in a lamp, after that they are covered with top and again sent to dry. You can experiment by choosing a matte top.

Doing manicures with rhombuses, you do not need to draw triangles of the same size as in the photo. To achieve another visual effect, you can use rhombuses of different sizes. Such gradient transitions can be performed not only with white lacquer, the main thing is that the chosen colors should be combined with each other.
