Diet for cholelithiasis

Diseases of the gallbladder are directly related to the type of food. It is known that in those countries where people are constantly malnourished, these diseases are extremely rare. That is, the abuse of a variety of foods, overeating is crucial for the formation of the gall bladder of sand and even stones.

The requirements for therapeutic nutrition depend on the period of the disease. But, nevertheless, they must be strictly observed. Since at the moment of an exacerbation the diet at zhelchekamennoj illnesses provides the inflamed body absolute rest. And in a quiet period, it helps to reduce the gallbladder and remove bile. Accordingly, proper nutrition in cholelithiasis helps to ensure that the time of remission is as long as possible, and its violation provokes new acute attacks.

The main principle of catering in this case is compliance with the regime. The diet for cholelithiasis should, first of all, consist in a fractional meal. To eat it is necessary in small portions, but not less often 4 times a day - this will already help to ensure that bile does not stay in the body, but it leaves on time. Conversely, a rare intake of large amounts of food provokes a severe contraction of the gallbladder, accompanied by pain and other disorders.

When a person has cholelithiasis, his diet must be saturated with proteins contained in low-fat fish and meat, cheese, milk, cottage cheese. If the body normally suffers whole eggs (that is, after them there is no abdominal pain, heaviness, swelling), you can consume them, but not more than 3-5 pieces per week. If they are transferred unimportantly, it is better to cook omelets out of them.

You can not use margarine, bacon, and offal in the diet, since all these foods are rich in cholesterol. Completely eliminate the fat is not worth it, they should be entered in the menu in the form of any vegetable oil, which, in addition, acts as a cholagogue. Sometimes, however, there is poor tolerance and vegetable oil, manifested dyspeptic disorders, increased pain. From animal fats, preference should be given to cream butter, introducing it into cereals, soups or spreading on bread. Cow's butter and digested by the body is easier and absorbed better.

Diet in cholelithiasis must necessarily contain many vegetables, berries, fruits and juices, cooked from them. It is known that these products accelerate the secretion of bile, do not give rise to stones, eliminate constipation. Especially useful are zucchini, carrots, pumpkin, cauliflower, watermelons, grapes, apples, strawberries, prunes. It is good to make salads out of them, adding lean oil, of course, if it is well tolerated.

If the disease is accompanied by frequent diarrhea, fruits and berries are better to wipe or make from them juices, giving preference to those fruits that are rich in tannic substances, and therefore, can stop the frustration - quince, bird cherry, blueberry and grenades.

You can not include in the menu garlic, radish, onions, radish, turnips, as they contain essential oils, and sorrel with spinach, saturated with oxalic acid. Usually, these products are not well tolerated and can lead to an exacerbation of the disease.

After an acute attack, the first two days can be limited to taking only a warm liquid in small sips (broth of dogrose, sweet tea, juices from sweet berries and fruits, half-diluted in water), and not more than two glasses. And after two days you can start eating grated soups made of cereals, jelly. Then enter cottage cheese, meat, fish. All food should be cooked for a couple and rubbed. And only after 5-7 days it will be possible to return to the usual diet for the sick.

All patients need to remember that a diet with cholelithiasis should be permanent, it can not be replaced by drugs, even the most modern and fashionable.
