So, the recipe for homemade waffles will remind you of childhood, especially those who spent it in Soviet times, and definitely will have to taste modern children, even if a little spoiled by an abundance of store sweets. The main thing is to prepare them in advance, at least 12 hours before the celebration, then the baking will be slightly soaked with cream and will become even tastier.

Recipe for homemade waffles

For a large portion you will need simple and affordable products:

  • 200 g of good butter (it is better to take without adding vegetable fats);
  • 5 chicken eggs;
  • 300 g of ordinary sugar;
  • 250 g of flour.

First, dissolve the butter in a water bath, make sure that it does not become too hot. Add eggs and mix well. Next, pour in all the sugar, whisk with whisk or mixer until smooth. After piecemeal, again stirring well, add flour. The dough should resemble thick sour cream. If it is thicker, add a couple of spoonfuls of water, this is quite acceptable for this recipe. Wafers at home are best baked in a special waffle iron, if there is not one, you can use a special electric frying pan to make sandwiches (sandwich). Depending on the size of the appliance, put a couple of tablespoons of dough into a heated waffle iron and bake for 2-4 minutes. When the wafer is ready, it immediately needs to be rolled into a tube. At you it will easily turn out, if it to make at once while baking is hot. For him, take half a liter of milk, 4 whole eggs or 5 yolks, 1 glass of sugar, 2 tbsp. Spoons of wheat flour, a little bit of vanilla sugar (optional).

Eggs or just yolks rub with sugar, add all the flour. The resulting mass is diluted with cold milk and put on medium heat. Cook until thick, for our baking the mass should not be liquid. Add the vanillin. This cream can be filled with wafers, which are already rolled in tubes. In this case, it is best to use a confectionery syringe. If desired, in the custard, you can add a little cocoa or chocolate, a food color (then the filling will turn out to be colored) or other flavoring fillers at your request. It's so easy to make homemade waffles in a waffle iron. The test and filling recipe is simple enough, and the taste will definitely appeal to both children and adults.
