A few years ago, the first 2 minibuses from the Italian-French trio (Citroen Jumper and Peugeot Boxer) entered the Russian market, where they are now being successfully implemented. But the third participant - "Fiat Ducato" - was a little delayed with the debut. Why did this happen? The thing is that since 2007, the company Sollers produced the previous (second) generation of machines, and only in 4 years the production of these trucks was collapsed.
At the end of 2011, the company introduced its new generation of Fiat Ducato, the technical specifications and design of which were no different from the above-mentioned Jumper and Boxer. In the spring of 2012, this minibus finally reached Russia, where it is now sold at full speed. As you already knew, today's article will be devoted to the third generation of this legendary truck.

Appearance

The exterior of the novelty has many new details. First of all, the minibus replaced the front bumper, which now consists of several parts - the lower fog lamp unit at the bottom, the chrome insert with the concern's logo in the middle and the huge radiator grille, which, like the headlights, seems to be reaching for the windshield. By the way, the windshield added a little in size, which enabled the driver to fully control all the processes that take place in front of the car. And to monitor the "tail" allows new rear-view mirrors, which are now divided into several parts. In general, the updated design and body structure, which became more rounded, positively distinguished on the coefficient of aerodynamic resistance.

What are the technical characteristics? "Fiat Ducato" has not received significant changes in the line of engines. But now they are much more economical and more productive in comparison with previous versions. Gasoline engines manufacturer did not develop, in the complete sets of exclusively diesel. Fiat Ducato is supplied with three units. The first engine has a power of 115 horsepower and a displacement of 2.0 liters. The second diesel, having a working volume of 2.3 liters, develops a capacity of 148 "horses". The line of engines is completed by a motor that has a power of 177 horsepower and a volume of 3.0 liters. All engines fully comply with the environmental standard EURO-5, and their service interval has now increased to 20 thousand km. Thus, the technical characteristics ("Fiat Ducato" is considered) have become more advanced than the second generation.

By the way, all units are equipped with two types of mechanical transmissions for 5 and 6 stages. The manufacturer did not provide the installation of automatic boxes.

Due to the fact that the novelty has such powerful technical characteristics, the "Fiat Ducato" 3 generation boasts good fuel economy performance. In a mixed cycle, the wagon consumes about 6.5-8 (depending on engine power) liters per 100 kilometers of run.

Price

The cost for new minibuses of the third generation ranges from 700 thousand to 1 million 380 thousand rubles. Entrepreneurs paid tribute to such a manufacturer's pricing policy and approved good technical characteristics. "Fiat Ducato" 3 generations is now an indispensable assistant in business.
