I really like crocheting. Sometimes it's just a necessity and a spiritual impulse. There are times when you catch yourself thinking about what else to tie. It was at this moment that I came up with the idea of tying up a ready-made simple handkerchief. It was simply interesting to understand how to tie the edge of the product crochet. But after several unsuccessful attempts, I could not stop.

The most important thing is to choose the yarn for knitting a suitable thickness according to the fabric. If it is a thin summer blouse or napkin, you will have to use the most thin of available, namely a simple sewing thread. Fortunately, the color scheme here is unlimited. And you will need the thinnest hook for knitting, if you do not have such an arsenal yet.

The first problem in the process of solving the assigned task, how to tie the edge of an article with a crochet, is how to make the first row with loops. In principle, nothing complicated. As always, you knit a row of columns without a crochet, just gently and evenly making holes on the edge of the product with a hook. And already on the next row you can safely begin to execute the chosen pattern.

As for the patterns. Here everything depends on your preferences. You can come up with a pattern yourself from your favorite elements. I, for example, took fragments from the napkins I had previously attached. The only thing you should be careful about is distributing the pattern evenly on the straight edge and at the corners so that the ready-made crocheted articles are not pulled together or laid down by the waves.

The reason why I had to start tying it was the need to somehow attach a blouse at the neck. So I tied it up, making convenient rope slots. Having twisted the rope independently from two strings and having attached to the ends uncomplicated "bells", I can now adjust the depth of my cutout.
