It is worth noting that Marshall always manages to match the ratio of melodrama to comedy in ideal proportions. His work never turns into a continuous series of gags, nor into an inexhaustible stream of "pink snot", remaining kind and sweet, funny and family. Even traditional moralism "not the gold that glitters" and the moral message from the series "with a nice paradise in a hut" do not look stupid and alien. They are given unobtrusively and easily, so much that they are taken for granted (after many misadventures, the heroes must undoubtedly find happiness).

Plot

The main heroine Joanna Steaton - bitchy wife of the pompous and self-confident oligarch hires ordinary carpenter-carpenter Dean Proffitt, so that he made her another box for shoes.
