List of films about robots: description, rating, reviews and reviews

Mankind stirs the idea of artificial intelligence, the ability to replace a man, artificially prolong life and defeat old age. These thoughts and desires are reflected in a genre, like films about robots. The list of the best is replenished annually, since this topic is very fertile for research. At first, robots were just helpers in everyday life, convenient gadgets and "glands", but then the writers learned to see in them soul, mind and even desires. Maybe, in the end, a robot can replace a person?

To make life easier

Mankind has always sought to rid itself of work and shift duties to other people's shoulders. And it is desirable that these shoulders were resigned and executive. Time goes by, the world changes, and the ambitions of scientists only grow. Already, nobody is surprised by robotics in almost all niches of human life. Robots become similar to humans, as developers tend to understand the interface and give their creatures a human image. The robot can have a certain character and differ little from the person in the crowd. But there was a time when the robot was considered a fantasy, an incomprehensible fantasy, which was first voiced by the Czech science fiction writer Karel Capek. He described the basic principles of the robot, ahead of all scientists and engineers of the nineteenth century. It was Czapek who gave the name to his creation, which entrenched itself behind these mechanisms. Years passed and scientists concentrated on giving the human body the intellect of man, creating an ideal cyborg capable of independently carrying out its work. These fantasies allowed to make films about robots and cyborgs.

List with emphasis on the main points

A person has never changed his mind about what is the pinnacle of evolution. Despite his weaknesses, illnesses and qualities of character, he considers himself to be the leading unit and therefore thinks of robots as his servants. Some of the films put the robots in the position of helpers, but the most interesting are the films about robot killers. The list, of course, opens a series of paintings about the Terminator. The unique Arnold Schwarzenegger embodied a unique image that has not become obsolete over the years. In the first picture he played the part of a villain, but despite this, he attracted part of the audience to his side. The mission of the "bad terminator" was simple to primitive - to kill the mother of the leader of the uprising of people, in order to exclude the very possibility of his birth. Only a weak person could prevent the robot, who was also sent from the future to protect the woman. As a result, it appears that the appearance of this man creates a temporary paradox, it is he who becomes the father of the leader of mankind. Terminator in the end crashes, and good wins. Honestly, it's even a little offensive, because "sick" for "Iron Arnie" is much nicer than setting yourself against him.

To be continued

"Terminator" captured the audience and quite naturally demanded continuation. The second film was even better than the first, because there Schwarzenegger stands on the side of good, interfering with the plans of the most modern cyborg. His mission is complicated, but, as practice shows, it is feasible. The third film - about the robot woman - the list replenishes not casually, after all it is the present debut. Christian Loken played a cold "iron lady", in many respects superior to the old terminator. It was sent from the future, in order to destroy all supporters of resistance. The main danger remains the same - the revolt of cars, the withdrawal of people in the underground.

After the third film there was a lot of gossip about the fact that the story is over and it's pointless to shoot, but in 2015 "Terminator: Genesis" proved the fallacy of such an assumption. The good old Arnie in the company of Emilia Clark again wins a decisive victory over the enemies, although the terminator is attacked more and more, and John Connor no longer stands on the side of people. Reviews about the film were more positive, although some of the viewers also noted that the film became more "home", the same tear went away that made the "Terminator" a militant.

From the 80's

If we take for consideration films about robots of the 80s, the list will necessarily be supplemented by a cult insurgent about an invulnerable cyborg - this is Robocop. According to the plot, he was one of the best policemen who was brutally mutilated in one operation. Experimental physicians created an invulnerable cyborg, capable of alone fighting a whole gang of criminals. Under the robust armor of Robocop, the human heart, he continues to be tormented by dreams and memories of the past, where he dies at the hands of criminals. Robocop wants justice and revenge, because before he had a family. The contradictory topic caused a lot of negative reviews. Part of the audience tended to the fact that serving the law after death is a citizen's duty, but another part found such an experience inhuman and protested against further filming.

Step through the generation

The list of films about robots of the 90s also includes paintings about Robocop. In 1990, released "Robocop 2, where the cyborg has to eliminate the secret narcobaratorium and a new robot, which was created specifically for the murder of Robocop. And in 1993, the third part of the film also appeared, where Robocope takes revenge for the death of his partner and restores order in Detroit.

Fashion theme

In 2007, the film directed by Michael Bay "Transformers" about the battles of the Autobots and the Decepticons for possession of a source of power was released. In the course of battles, it turns out that an ordinary earthman can show where the subject of the universal search is. The film was successful, after 2 years, its sequel - "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen" was released. In the peaceful life of the heroes of the first film bursts a new villain who encroaches on the sun! The third part of the epic was released two years later. According to the plot, robots want to enslave the land, having concluded an alliance with the Autobots. In 2014, the fourth part came out. Almost all Autobots and Decepticons are destroyed by humans. But the inventor Cade bought a truck on the flea market and discovered that it was Optimus Prime himself. The government wants to find the find and the most powerful transformer, who wants to replenish his collection of dangerous robots. Films turned out spectacular and cash, which, according to viewers, strongly contributed to the special effects and supermodels in the foreground.

A new generation of films

The list of films about robots adequately replenishes the "Welcome to Paradise", which embodies the plot of a dream - the future, where there is a special resort for the rich and all the servants consist entirely of androids. Clients of the resort can realize all their fantasies, including violence and murders. Every day, the androids are erased, but eventually one of them begins to suspect what is happening and wants to escape.

In 2013, the film "Pacific Frontier" was released. Here, huge alien monsters Kaitzu emerged from the depths of the sea and the humanity fell sharply. To fight them, they created giant robots, whose management is engaged in pilots.

The best of the best

The list of films about robots would be incomplete without the picture "I am a robot". This film made a furor among fans of the genre. According to the plot, one can observe how perfect technologies become the main world-forming element. Movies about cyborgs are very emotional, because they reveal the meaning of the existence of intelligent machines that can really drive out people thanks to their intelligence and ingenuity. In the list of films about robots must necessarily include "Artificial Intelligence" Steven Spielberg. In the film, it's about the relationship of a person and a robot, about the feelings of a particular cyborg boy who loves his human mother more than anything in the world and wants very much to be her only and beloved. Alas, his parents have a son, he means more to them than a foster child.

The boy David made friends with the robot-bear Teddy, who guards him. David wants to find the Blue Fairy from the tale of Pinocchio and ask her to turn him into a real boy. It takes many years, robots evolve. They defrost David and Teddy and recreate the house and mother for Teddy, but only for one day. This is an incredibly sad and bright story, which rightly replenishes the list of films about robots.

Concluding the topic, it must be said that the theme of robots and cyborgs rises when creating full-length animated films. The most memorable and cute was the cartoon "Vall-i." If you list movies about robots, the list of the best will be filled up with this project about a robot cleaner, the only one remaining on the ground and having adopted a number of human emotions. Vall has even a pet - a cockroach - and a favorite film with songs. But one day he has a love for which he, in the best traditions of the hero, agrees to fight.
