Hollywood cinema about the prison often draws a not quite real picture of people's lives in such places. But some artists managed to convey this atmosphere in their works.

One of the legendary films was "Escape from Shawshank." It is based on the eponymous novel by Stephen King. Shoushenk is the name of the prison, from which, it would seem, can not escape. The main character of the film Andy Dufrain gets there on charges of double murder.

The vice president of one of the largest banks was sentenced to two life sentences for having killed his wife and child. Andy swears he did not do it, but the jury made a decision, and here he is already in the prison. But anyway, no matter how cruel the movie about the prison, the plot gives the main character a chance. One day, Andy gives advice to the guards on completing tax returns, which help them save a good amount. Over time, he will become the bank's own banker, which gives him some priorities in the environment in which he is.

After almost twenty years, the main character is trying to get money from the Senate to open a local library. He begins to cultivate the local society. From one of the prisoners he hears a story about a double murder in which he learns himself. He begins to demand from the head of the security assistance in drawing up an appeal and reviewing the case. Naturally, Norton does not want to lose his personal banker and tries with all his might to prevent a revision.

Of course, in every film about prison writers give the protagonist the ability to escape. All the while in detention, Andy was digging a tunnel. And here during a thunder-storm he escapes from prison through a cellar and a sewage system. At the end of the film, the hero appears on the Pacific coast with his friend on the conclusion, Red.

A successful film about the prison in 2013 was the film "It's not too late". The bottom line is that the presenter meets every time a regular prisoner and just listens to his life story, thereby giving the chance to speak out or even repent. It gives criminals an opportunity to start a new life for their soul. All the stories shown in the film are not fabricated, but the most that are not real.
