Because of what "breaks" night sweat?

Once you wake up in a cold sweat and long can not fall asleep again because of the nasty feeling of a wet sheet. Then it will be repeated - maybe the next night, maybe two ... And then again and again, and then you just care: because of what I break through the night sweat and how to get rid of it?

There can be many reasons. Among them there are also so obvious that it may seem strange, as you yourself have not guessed. Perhaps you are comfortable sleeping in the warmth, but the body can find that it is too stuffy for him in the room. In this case, increased sweating is the simplest signal that you should ventilate the room before going to bed. The habit of lying in a hot bath for the night can also turn into sweating - the body has its own "climate control", it regulates the temperature and lowers it on its own. In general, noticing that too often you have a night sweat, first of all, look for obvious reasons. Open the window before going to bed, do not wrap yourself in a too warm blanket, take a cool shower instead of a hot bath, do not exercise physically during the evening. You look - and normal "dry" sleep will be restored.

But if everything was so simple, it would be possible not to pay attention to this topic at all. However, night sweats can be a symptom of the disease. It can often accompany normal catarrhal conditions, in which the body struggles with fever (and, incidentally, be a reaction to antipyretic drugs). But sometimes cold sweat at night is a harbinger of much more serious problems - hepatitis, thyroid disease, leukemia, hormonal failures (in women, this symptom often accompanies menopause or menopausal changes), intestinal disorders, pre-sults. Also, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) is a "classic" companion of malaria and tuberculosis. And this is not a complete list of possible diseases - it is not very important to enumerate them all, since it is not easy and even dangerous to diagnose them yourself. Therefore, it is better and more reliable to consult a doctor - he should take seriously the report of an unreasonable regular night sweats.

What mother does not frighten the child's cold sweat ?! However, this is not always a cause for concern. In children, sweating can persist for a long time after the illnesses are over, when you already and think about them will forget. For example, after childhood infections, night sweats can be observed for several months. If the child is not sick at all, pay attention - he does not overheat. After all, children are in a constant movement, and therefore their body is always hotter than an adult. Wear a child in the weather, make sure that by evening he is not overexcited, did not see any "fears" on TV. But if the sweating does not go away, you need, of course, to tell this to the pediatrician.

Yes, more, we only mentioned casually about medicines, but not only antipyretic drugs, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen and others can give the effect of cold sweat. Increased sweating is a very common reaction to an extensive group of drugs. It can be both antidepressants, and hypertensive drugs, and insulin, and cortisone, and drugs for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and others. In order not to worry in vain, carefully read the instruction-insert to the medication taken - as a rule, such a reaction is indicated there.

Still it is necessary to notice, that the raised diaphoresis can pursue the person both at night, and in the afternoon, it is simple during day time on it not so pay attention, and here night sweat brings inconveniences both to the person, and its partner, therefore often causes anxiety.
