According to doctors and nutritionists, dishes that are cooked from poultry meat are very useful, because they are easier to digest, thanks to the greater protein content, compared to the meat of domestic animals. It is also called white, because it is dominated by muscle fibers, so that chicken meat is more quickly digested.

Chicken meat, like any other meat, is cooked, stewed, fried, steamed, and almost any part of the chicken is suitable for use. Chicken thigh, baked in the oven - this is probably one of the most inexpensive and delicious dishes, which is suitable for different occasions of life. Many cooks say that chicken meat is difficult to spoil, but still, in order to avoid annoying mistakes, before you tell how to prepare a whole leg in the oven, let's pay attention to some features of the preparation of this product.

· First of all, after buying, the meat should be washed with cold water. Then it is rubbed with salt and pepper and placed in a separate container.

· In order for the whole leg baked in the oven to have a specific flavor, you can use a variety of seasonings. In this marinade, meat should be at least a couple of hours.

· Before you start to prepare a ham in the oven, it needs to be warmed up to 180 - 200 degrees.

· Another feature: chicken hams in the oven should be baked for at least 30 minutes.

Bake a bird in the oven can be based on different recipes. Legs baked in the oven are prepared with rice or vegetables, potatoes or cheese. Here is one recipe for chicken ham.

This dish will require 6 hams, 200 grams. Mayonnaise, 250 gr. Cheese, 4 cloves of garlic, greens, salt, pepper.

In the beginning, the ham should be washed, if you need to pluck feathers, cut off excess fat. Next, you need to salt, pepper and put on a baking tray, skinned up.

Next, the so-called "fur coat" is prepared, thanks to which the whole leg, baked in the oven, will become tender and juicy. Greens need to be washed, dried and finely chopped. Next you need to grate the cheese on a large grater, chop the garlic with a knife or pass through the press. Then cheese, garlic and greens are mixed with mayonnaise to a homogeneous mass.

After this, the prepared mass is laid on top of each ham, trying to completely cover them.

A pan with hams is put in a preheated oven to 200 degrees and baked for 15-20 minutes. If the cheese began to melt and a golden crust appeared, the temperature is lowered to 100 degrees and baked for another 20 minutes.

Also the whole leg, baked in the oven, can be cooked with vegetables.

To prepare this dish you need to prepare 4 chicken legs. 1 onion, 3 cloves of garlic, 3 bell peppers, 4 tomatoes, 30 gr. Butter, 2 tbsp. Vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon curry. 1 tbsp. Broth, greens bay leaf and pepper.

Initially, the hams are cut into pieces, salted and peppered. Then fry in a pan until it is crusty. While the ham is roasted, the Bulgarian pepper and tomatoes are washed, the onions and garlic are peeled, the latter are cut into small cubes.

Next, tomatoes, previously peeled from the skin and seeds, and pepper, peeled of seeds, cut into cubes.

In the next step, onions and garlic are fried in sunflower oil, chopped tomatoes, peppers, curry are added and everything is again fried. The resulting vegetable mass is added to the broth and brought to a boil.

After this, pieces of ham are added to the comfortable dishes and filled with the resulting sauce. Hams are baked in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes.

It is recommended to cut off excess fat if you want to reduce the caloric content of the dish or to cook a whole leg in the oven in foil. So the dish will become more useful, and taste qualities will not be lost.
