Automatic traumatic and other weapons

Traumatic weapons are designed for self-defense. It should be lightweight, compact and comfortable to wear, and as safe as possible for the shooter himself. There are many different models of traumatic weapons, some of them are suitable for self-defense tasks more, others are smaller, depending on their caliber and size. Almost all of them accurately repeat the original and, as a rule, have a number of differences, characteristic for all "traumas". Some types of weapons are produced only in the pneumatic version.

The legal side

Traumatic weapons - assault rifles, pistols, submachine guns - are most often done by hunting down battle shafts. This involves a certain risk. First, the design must be changed in such a way that it is not possible to reverse the conversion, and secondly, according to the Weapons Act, the possibility of shooting with a queue should be excluded, if it is envisaged in the combat version. Thirdly, such a model includes all the positive and negative aspects of the mechanism, which affects the operation.

Automatic traumatic: reality and fiction

Automata are types of firearms designed to defeat the enemy in close combat. Their distinctive feature is the possibility of creating a large density of fire. Also, the machine is called an automatic carbine, or an assault rifle. After the Great Patriotic War, machine guns in the USSR replaced several types of weapons: submachine guns, obsolete models of non-automatic carbines and shop non-automatic rifles.

The ability to fire a burst, the cartridges of the intermediate caliber, the replaceable store of high capacity - all this makes the automatic weapon the popular weapon. Unfortunately, the traumatic variant is impossible.

Automatic and non-automatic weapons

The familiarity of the words "automatic" and "automatic" often deceives people. If you ask a person who is not a weapon expert, what is an "automatic pistol", he will most likely answer that it is a pistol that can fire a burst. In the twenties of the last century, Nikolai Mikhailovich Filatov, a Soviet specialist in small arms, in relation to Fedorov's rifle, which the designer himself called the "carbine-machine gun," was proposed the name "automatic". Whether traumatic or combat gun is unimportant, it can also be automatic (as well as semi-automatic), because in fact, the automation in the design only provides for the self-cocking of the trigger, but not the auto-fire mode (firing a burst).

Practically all modern weapons are automatic. The revolver of the Nagan system in its officer version had a self-cocking function.

Pistols

Traumatic pistols, as a rule, have some similar characteristics. Sighting range of shooting - up to twenty meters (effective is considered shooting from ten). Models created by hunting, have modifications in the design, which limit the capacity of the cartridge used. The specific shape of the barrel channel will lead to the destruction of the weapon in case of firing from it with a reinforced ammunition.

The Stechkin pistol was adopted at the same time as the famous Makarov pistol in 1951. As a rule, they are supplied with officers who take part in hostilities. It also comes in some special units.

Traumatic submachine gun is produced recently, since 2010. It is made by hunting and has 9 caliber. The pistol is automatic, the bolt is free. Since it is considered a civilian weapon, the regime of auto-fire, in accordance with the Weapons Act, is excluded.

The gun has a fairly large size, and in the comfort of wearing a large role is played by the correct selection of the holster, but, despite the dimensions, it is quite light.

Traumatic APS is almost complete resemblance to combat. This is often critical among gun lovers, because the choice is obvious if you can simultaneously carry an authorized self-defense tool, and keep the most accurate copy of the original in hand. The price of a traumatic APS is from 35 thousand rubles.

Also very popular traumatic pistol Makarov and TT. – один из самых узнаваемых видов оружия среди гражданского населения, отчасти из-за того, что им вооружена полиция, отчасти из-за постоянного мелькания в кинематографе. PM ("Makarych" or IZH-79-9T) is one of the most recognizable weapons among the civilian population, in part because of the fact that it is armed with police, in part because of the constant flickering in the cinematograph. TT (the model is called the "Leader") is also very famous. He is loved for his characteristics, he is very comfortable, light, rather narrow, because of what is almost invisible when wearing. However, the TT has a significant drawback associated with the features of the original construction. Cases of self-shooting were noted, why it was even forbidden in the armed forces to carry a pistol in a holster without an included fuse and with a dispatched cartridge. The speed of the flight of a rubber bullet is almost 300 m / s, and the range of fire reaches two hundred meters and above.

The famous "Wasp"

This is one of the examples when a gun is not created by hawking, because it does not have a combat analog. "Wasp" (the full name - the gun is barren, "PB-OCA") has three modifications: "Compact", PB-2 and PB-4-2. Also there is a "Aegis PB-2" based on "Ace".
It is not suitable for training shooting and shooting at the stand, but fully justifies itself as a weapon for self-defense. G.A. Bideyev, the designer of Osa, set himself the task of designing a pistol that meets all the requirements of the law, but has a high stopping power, and coped well with the task. Equipped with a cartridge of the caliber 18 × 45, created specifically for this pistol. There are also light and sound cartridges.

A feature of the "PB-Wasp" is the lack of a trunk. As a result, neither alteration into firearms nor firing with reinforced cartridges is possible, since the ignition of gunpowder occurs due to an electric spark.

Kalashnikov assault rifle

Often on the shelves of weapons and sports stores you can see the noise AK. As a rule, this is a submachine gun, that is, made from combat gear. It can be used for training in disassembly. Shoots the noise AK with empty cartridges, and is provided for both shooting single shots, and shooting a burst. Noisy AKs are used for school and student military sports games, training in automaton analysis, etc.

The civilian population has the opportunity to acquire a traumatic pistol, but the machine does not have such a model. The Kalashnikov traumatic assault rifle, if it were, would be impossible to fire with a burst, as it was realized in the Saiga carbines. As well as the machine gun, the traumatic version of the "Esaul" submachine gun is deprived of fire by a burst. His conversion to auto-lights is illegal.

"Automatic traumatic" - it is often called the pneumatic version, which is made of metal and wood and exactly repeats the appearance of the legendary machine. A traumatic gun is designed for aiming at a distance of up to 20 meters, and a pneumatic AK produces the same indicators. Also very reasonable price, it ranges from seven to twenty thousand rubles.

The speed of the bullet is very high for pneumatics: 130 m / s, if it gets into an unprotected place, it can lead to injury. AK is a favorite weapon of people, keen on airsoft and hardball, but given that the store in different models can hold up to three hundred bullets, and one cylinder with carbon dioxide in gas-cylinder models is less than a hundred shots, an electric drive system was implemented. Instead of a cylinder, an electric compressor was used, which, in turn, is powered by a battery. Such a modernization made it possible to use the machine in military field games.

Traumatic weapons are primarily designed for self-defense, it should be small and comfortable to wear, and the machine for these purposes is not suitable, but the pneumatic gun can cause serious damage, so safety is the first priority.
