The northern and southern roads of the capital. History of the project. What is done today?

Already ten years in the capital of Russia there is a large-scale change of the transport infrastructure. The government plans to have two large chords in the north, including a grandiose rock road, many of which have already been commissioned. Before the completion of the work is less than two years. In the south, this type of route will contain several punctures in different directions to connect the important routes of the metropolis. The name of the project refers to the military concept, but in this case means a highway created directly, bypassing the center and major interchanges of the city.

Northeast movement. The beginning of the way

The road connecting the two chords (east and west) is called the North Rokada. It is the main type street of the first level with a constant process of driving cars. The tract consists of two sections with four bands. As you move, the route narrows to three zones, and later to two. The widest places are in the north-east chord. A feature of the construction was the complete absence of traffic interchanges. Thus, designers were able to increase throughput and eliminate the appearance of unnecessary machines. And in areas associated with major highways, including chords, everything will be part of the same infrastructure. By 2010, construction work was resumed, and the organizers already announced readiness for operation of the section connecting Kozhukhovo and Kosino-Ukhtomskoye. After seven months, a three-level road was completed, running parallel with the railway track. It became an excellent alternative to Ryazan Avenue and Highway Enthusiasts. In the area of Anosov Street, the North Rokada intersects with the fourth transport ring. Next, the track will fall on the Budyonny Prospekt and go into the tunnel to connect with the chord.

Northern direction today

At the moment, the movement for this project is already open to the Festival Street itself, including the denouement located in the area.

It is worth noting that after the commissioning of the site at the end of last year, the situation on the Moscow-Sheremetyevo highway improved significantly. A road was built for about two years. The entire complex of facilities consists of 8 kilometers of motor roads, including those reconstructed, and four and a half kilometers of overpasses in the amount of nineteen. As the employees of the developer company moved, the neighboring and adjacent streets, the underground passages created for pedestrians, and the installation of specialized screens with noise-proofing effect were put in order. In the spring of this year, the construction of the next section was started. Rokada, the northern scheme of which is demonstrated below, under this project will pass to Schelkovskoye highway, and will begin in the Izmailovsky area.

Infrastructure of the south. History of development

The main purpose of the construction of the highway is the connection of two major highways - Kashirsky and Warsaw. Without such a bundle, getting to them is problematic not only in prime time, but also in more peaceful periods of the day. At the moment, you can get to transport facilities through a tunnel near the fork or in the immediate vicinity of the fourth transport ring. The fulfillment of the project goal includes not only the erection of an object such as South Rokada, but also the improvement of the infrastructure of adjacent streets. At the moment, five plots are in operation, during the construction process there is a flight from Warsaw highway to Proletarsky prospect and two grand interchanges. The completion of the multi-kilometer road from Rublyovskoye highway to Balaklavsky avenue took place at the very beginning of 2014. The whole year the testing of a new transport education was underway. The leadership of the capital calls it quite successful.

The two largest overpasses

The beginning of the project "South Rokada" was held in 2010. Since that time a lot of steps have been taken in this direction and several laborious stages have been completed. Especially it concerns two large flyovers - Michurinskaya and Rublevskaya. The first moves along the avenue with the same name, has six strips of width and more than three hundred and fifty meters of length. The second has the same number of zones for cars, twice the length of Michurin's overpass, and with entrances and forks almost reaches one thousand kilometers. In addition, the road in this area was replenished with protective screens.

Lack of traffic lights

After the introduction of the planned pedestrian-type underground passages along the entire length of the new route Rublevskoe Highway - Balaklavsky Prospekt, automatic traffic controllers disappeared. There will be eight buildings under the ground. Thus, the roadway will be able to increase the throughput by an order and reduce the factors preventing the unloading of the transport infrastructure.

Current state of affairs today

At the moment, the general contractor has already been selected, which will be engaged in the construction of the site from Balaklava to Proletarsky Prospekt. The project program for the forthcoming works includes the construction of two and a half kilometers of sidewalks and the same number of new routes, plus three and a half kilometers of reconstructions. In addition, there will be built 3 transitions for pedestrians above ground type, a tunnel, a flyover and two bridges across the river. This is what the South Rokada will look like on this site. The construction dates are yet to be dated 2017, but may be postponed to a later time.
