Alexander Mikhalkov: the history of the noble family

In a large family Mikhalkov, everyone is more or less famous. It does not take a day for the surname to sound in the press or on television. The Mikhalkovs have their own opinion on all spheres of life - from world problems to cooking.

Great-grandfathers

Modern Mikhalkovs are descendants of princes Golitsyns. Princess Elizaveta Nikolayevna Golitsyna married Vladimir Mikhalkov, and the family gets 720 acres of land from the Golitsyns with the settlement of Nazarevo. The estate was a dowry from the princes Golitsyn.

Vladimir Sergeevich Mikhalkov, the great-grandfather of the poet, came from a poor noble family Mikhalkov. Their family estate was partially preserved in Rybinsk. The new family began building its own estate. It was a two-story building, decorated in a Gothic style.

This estate became their summer residence, and most of the time the family spent in Moscow. The village of Nazarevo was in the territory of the Zvenigorod district, and when the great-grandfather's grandfather was elected leader of the nobility and an honorary justice of the peace in this district, the family moved to his ancestral estate.

Grandparents and parents

Alexander Mikhalkov, landowner of the Moscow, Kostroma and Yaroslavl provinces, captain and honorary world judge, was a grandfather to the poet. Grandma Anna Miller, his wife, was also of noble birth.

Alexander Mikhalkov and his wife Anna also lived in Nazarevo, where their son Vladimir was born - the father of a famous writer.

In the family of Vladimir and Olga, there were three sons - Sergei, Mikhail and Alexander (Mikhalkov). The writer's childhood passed in the nest of his ancestors near Moscow. But these were difficult revolutionary times.

After the revolution, the estate was nationalized, and the family moved from Moscow to Pyatigorsk. Education in the family was Spartan. The education of the boys involved a governess of German descent.

Creativity and Life

Despite the noble blood, Mikhalkov accepted the state system and the collapse of the USSR was perceived as a great tragedy. Until the end of his life he asked me to call him "a Soviet man" and was glad that his peers did not live to see the collapse of Soviet power.

At the time of Sergei Mikhalkov twelve rulers and four regimes were replaced. Stalin's power loved Mikhalkov, but he, as an apolitical person, simply appreciated the opportunity to work.

Mikhalkov is known as a child poet, but he wrote not only for children. His hand wrote the script of the famous movie "3 + 2". According to his works many children's fairy tales have been taken off. Until the end of his days he remained the editor-in-chief of the satirical magazine "Wick". Sergei Vladimirovich worked until the end of life, because the work was for the poet was the meaning of life.

Sergei Mikhalkov - not just the author of hymns and children's poems, which grew more than one generation of Soviet children, he is the father of famous actors and directors Nikita and Andrew. Their films received more than one award.

Fraternal relations

Little is known about the fate of Sergei Mikhalkov's brothers, many of the data are still classified. After the publication of the memoir Two Brothers - Two Fates, many learned that the poet had two more brothers. The book has very scanty data about Alexander and Mikhail Mikhalkov.

Alexander Mikhalkov is known as an engineer who studied local lore. He was obviously interested in ancestors and noble origin. In 1996 he managed to publish the work "Essays from the history of the Moscow merchant class, whose enterprises served Moscow after the revolution." It was this work that made him famous.

From the memoirs of the employees of the Moscow Pravda, it is known that Alexander Vladimirovich Mikhalkov appeared in the newspaper without a call and did not like to talk about his famous brother. The circulation of his work is only 1500 copies, now it is on the lists of recommended literature for studying the history of Russian entrepreneurship.

My younger brother Mikhail also distinguished himself in the literary field and wrote an autobiographical novel "In the labyrinth of deadly risk", where he told his own story of the struggle.

Rybinsk

Data on the family Mikhalkov and his noble origin were kept in the family archive of the estate in Rybinsk. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, relatives were given archives and the truth about the life of the ancestors of Mikhalkov became available to relatives.

About the estate in Rybinsk it is known that before the arrival of the Soviet authorities, there were stored a lot of works of art - paintings and old objects of everyday life passed into the hands of the state and were forever lost to a famous family.

Now the park in Rybinsk is a monument of landscape art. Shady alleys and century-old trees keep the memory of the glorious noble family of the Mikhalkovs.
