Winter billets: lecho with rice

A good preparation for the winter will be lecho with rice. Canned Bulgarian pepper is an excellent appetizer for any table. You can prepare lecho with rice for the winter according to one of the following recipes.

Method 1

This recipe does not contain vinegar and is well kept in cans during the winter. To make it, you will need:

  • 5-6 large heads of onions (about 1 kg);
  • 5-6 large pieces of fresh carrots (about 1 kg);
  • 7-8 large pieces of bell pepper (about 1 kg);
  • Ripe tomatoes about 3 kg;
  • 1 (about 200 grams) a glass of rice;
  • 1 (about 200 grams) a glass of granulated sugar;
  • Salt - about 2 spoons;
  • 1.5 cups (about 300 ml) of vegetable oil.

Technology of preparation

Lecho with rice - the recipe is simple and fast. To make it, you need to peel the onions and carrots. Onion cut into half rings, grate the carrots. Pepper cut, remove seeds and septums, chop with straw. Tomatoes can either be twisted through a meat grinder, or use a grater. Put all the prepared ingredients in the cooking bowl. Put on the fire for 20 minutes. Then wash the rice and put it to the vegetables. Salt, add sugar and pour the vegetable oil. Mix everything thoroughly. Cook for 4 minutes. Then lecho with rice put in sterilized jars and tighten the lids. Banks turn upside down, leave to cool. Then put it in a dark place.

Method 2

You can prepare an acute lecho with rice in several interesting ways. We offer such a recipe. It includes the following products:

  • About 500 ml of vegetable oil (or 2.5 cups);
  • 5-6 large heads of onions (about 1 kg);
  • 5-6 pieces (about 1 kg) of large fresh carrots;
  • 7-8 pieces (about 1 kg) of Bulgarian pepper;
  • A glass (about 200 grams) of sugar sand;
  • 2 tablespoons of salt;
  • Raw rice - 2 cups (about 400 grams);
  • 3 kg of fresh ripe tomatoes;
  • To taste bitter capsicum.

Technology of preparation

Tomatoes are washed and scrolled with a meat grinder or wipe them through a grater. Carrots clean and chop. Onions cut into rings / semirings. Remove the seeds and septa from the Bulgarian pepper, shred straw. Bitter pepper finely and finely with a knife. Fold all the prepared vegetables in a large saucepan or cooking bowl, put the previously washed rice. Salt, put sugar, pour oil. Turn on moderate heat and simmer for about 40 minutes. After extinguishing, spread lecho over the jars and tighten them with lids.

Method 3

The original recipe for lecho with rice includes the following ingredients:

  • Lard - a piece weighing 80 grams;
  • Head onion (about 60 grams);
  • 8 sweet peppers (large);
  • 6-8 medium-sized ripe tomatoes;
  • Sausage or ham - a piece weighing about 150 grams;
  • A glass with a slide (about 250 grams) of rice;
  • salt.

Technology of preparation

This recipe can be used not only for winter preparations, but also for making fresh snacks to the table. Cut the fat into small pieces, put in a frying pan and dunk the fat out of it. In it, fry the onions cut into thin half-rings . Then add crushed tomatoes. Stew about 10 minutes. During this time, peel the seeds and partitions of the pepper, cut it into thin strips. Put to the rest of the ingredients. Add salt. Stew for about 10 minutes. Chop the sausages into pieces, put them in a frying pan, pour the specified amount of rice, pour a glass of water. Her level should be above the level of rice by 1 cm. Mix, wait for the boil. Then put the frying pan in the oven until cooked. It is possible to install a divider on the plate and continue to extinguish rice on the slowest heat. Stirring is no longer necessary. Prepare the dish by the cans and roll them down. If you serve lecho to the table, then spread it on plates and sprinkle with greens.
