What kind of education in our country (incomplete higher, secondary, primary)

What kind of education is in our country? There are many names on hearing: incomplete higher, full general, bachelor's degree, secondary vocational. Let us consider in more detail when and what kind of education a citizen of our country receives.

If you believe the law on education, it can be divided into two categories: general and professional. The general is also divided into subsections: the initial general, which is received by students in schools in grades 1-4, basic general (grades 5-9) and total general (secondary), which they receive after completing 12 grades of the general education school. The basic general education can be obtained only at school, but the full general, in addition to the school, is provided by lyceums and technical schools. However, there is still a pre-school education (in the kindergarten), but it exists nominally, no diplomas for the end of the kindergarten are given to children.

A more serious stage is already an initial vocational education, which can be obtained at vocational schools and technical schools. These institutions give not only general developmental information, but also the basics of the chosen profession. A person who has received an appropriate diploma can expect to find a job in the specialty, while a citizen who has only a diploma of secondary education who is usually satisfied with low-skilled work.

Secondary vocational education is the next step. It is received on the basis of basic general, secondary and primary vocational education in technical schools, colleges and universities.

The top of education is higher education. It also happens to be different. First, the incomplete higher. In fact, this is the first stage of higher professional education. Many people think that enrolling in the first year and completing 2-3 months of studies automatically gives the right to write in the application form when applying for a job: "There is an incomplete higher education". However, this is not the case. In fact, only those students who have studied at the university for 2-3 years, have the right to obtain a certificate, where it is written that they received an incomplete higher education, indicating the amount of knowledge received and the disciplines passed.

The next level of higher education is a master's degree and a bachelor's degree. At first glance, this is also an incomplete higher, only a higher stage. But it is not so. A bachelor's degree can be awarded to graduates after 4 years of study. In fact, this is a complete higher general education without any narrow specialization. If a "tower" is required for a job, a bachelor may well qualify for this position. If after receiving a bachelor's degree the student will continue his studies at the university, in two years he will be able to obtain a master's degree. Master's program assumes a deeper study of the subject with a deepening in scientific activity. If earlier bachelors were perceived as half-educated specialists, then today the situation is changing before our eyes. Bachelors and masters can continue their studies in foreign universities, while a person with a diploma of a specialist (completed higher) will have to be re-qualified.

According to the form, the incomplete higher, higher and secondary specialized education can be:

  1. Daytime - in this case, the student must attend all lectures in the daytime.
  2. Evening - lectures and couples are transferred to the evening.
  3. In absentia, a student studies self-education for a year, and then twice a year gives sessions.
  4. Remote - in this case, training, passing exams and tests takes place without personal contact, only through means of communication - mail, Skype.
  5. Externality - in this case the student studies the subjects on his own, and enters the university to take exams early.

If desired, a person can get a post-graduate education, go on to graduate school and become a candidate and subsequently a doctor of science.
