Like many other domestic flowers, monstera loves intense watering, but one should not allow excess moisture, which can lead to the decay of its roots. Spraying is not required, but it is necessary to remove the plaque of dust from the leaves, so that they will gladden the eye with their wax shine. Fertilizer is enough to make one or two times a month, the usual complex is suitable, which is easy to buy in the store. Since the monster is a liana, it is necessary to take care of some decorative support, or to allow the plant to curl over a wall or other support. Another feature of the monster is that it often releases air roots. Do not trim them so that the wound does not form. It is better to send them to the pot with soil. Transplant this plant annually, in the spring. When it reaches the age of three or four years, the transplant can be done even less often, once every two years. Drainage is mandatory so that moisture does not stagnate in the roots.
