Expression in Russian means "emotionality". Consequently, expressive vocabulary is an emotionally colored set of expressions designed to convey the internal state of a person who speaks or writes. It concerns exclusively the artistic style in speech, which is very close to spoken in oral utterances. But at the same time the artistic style has several significant limitations in comparison with colloquial speech. As a rule, such expressions are used only if a person wants to express a negative attitude. Otherwise, we will use softer words and phrases like "good husband" and others.

The first means a person who made another feel shame, and the second implies deception. This word, by the way, also has a predominantly negative color.

Multivalued words that acquire emotional color when used as a metaphor

It happens that only when using the word as a metaphor expressive vocabulary is formed. Examples - saw her husband (reference to the previous word), sing to the authorities, blink the bus. In general, the word "saw" means the division of wood into several parts using a special tool.
