For the first time a foam drink in the Czech Republic began to be produced back in 1088. At that time, the beer was cooked exclusively at home. Then the Czech ruler, King Vaclav, was convinced that this business brings good profits. And in 1118 he ordered the construction of the first large brewery.

Why even better beer is produced in the Czech Republic? The fact is that one of the main ingredients in the production is ecologically clean water, which is extracted from artesian wells. It should be noted that Czech beer is divided into certain categories. In particular, there are "ten" (wort content - 10%), "twelve" (wort content - 12%). There are dark varieties of barley drink (cooked from dark malt), light (cooked from light malt), semi-dark (cooked from a mixture of light and dark malt), variety rzhezane (a combination of light and dark beer).

Ancient German brewing formula presupposed the use of herbs and cereals. Of course, the taste of this drink left much to be desired. Only in 1516 at the legislative level the issue of beer purity was resolved. In other words, in the preparation of beer, no ingredients were allowed - except for malt, water and hops. And today you can see on the shelves of some shops a bottle of foam drink with the inscription "1516", and many gourmets of our time believe that this is the best beer they have ever tried. When preparing liquid bread in Germany, the quality of yeast is carefully monitored. Fermentation is of two kinds: grasshoppers and uppers - in the first case the drink is stored longer.

Of course, the range of German beer today is unusually huge. What is the best beer - everyone decides individually, based on their preferences and preferences. Today, consumers choose: Roggenbier (rye beer with a 5.5% alcohol content), Schwarzbier (a product of bottom fermentation, very dark), Pilsner and Altbier - (products of horse and bottom fermentation with alcohol content of 4-4.8%).

In Germany beer of light grades is especially appreciated, and the leader of sales is the brand Krombacher.

Russian

The domestic brewing market is also striking in its scale. Statistics show that only in 2012, Russia produced about 10 million liters of foam drink.

It should be noted that the participants of the Russian beer market are mostly foreign companies. The lion's share of liquid bread is produced by Baltika (37.4%). The second position in the market is occupied by the commercial structure of Inbev (16.4%), the third - Heineken (11.7%). Also in the list of leaders in the field of domestic brewing are the companies Efes (share - 10.9%) and SABMiller (7.2%). The rest of the market is mastered by lesser known brands: their products, produced at regional mini-factories, are in fact in high demand with the Russian consumer.

Import of foreign beer is limited

Of course, foreign companies are also represented on the Russian market, which import beverages from Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and other countries. However, in a tense political environment, the share of foreign beer is declining. The Russian consumer began to buy less beer from foreign brands, primarily because prices for foreign drinks jumped at least 2.5 times.

In our country, consumers prefer beer brands "Golden Barrel", "Old Miller", "Siberian Crown", "Nevsky".

The best draft beer should be looked for in the outlets located in the immediate vicinity of the factories producing a frothy beverage. Increased demand enjoys draft beer "Zhigulevskoe", "Klinskoe", "Admiralteyskoe."
