What are the areas of activity for private entrepreneurs?

When an entrepreneur registers a firm, he must indicate which type of business he plans to engage in. At the same time, all areas of activity must necessarily be quite specific, and even a new and creative idea for business needs to be adjusted to the criteria established by law.

What areas of activity are there?

At the moment, Russia has a single classifier of economic sectors. This document describes all the economic activities for IP and legal entities that are allowed on the territory of the country. In this classifier, the spheres of activity, such as are, are broken down by industry, which greatly simplifies the search for the required type of activity. Also here you can find out the code of activities that need to be specified when applying for registration of an IP. It should be noted that these codes are equally applicable to private companies and legal entities.

How to determine the activity code?

According to the legislation, an entrepreneur may choose several options for activities, but one of them must be the main one.

What are the areas of activity of the enterprise?

It must be remembered that the classification of the types of activity of an IP is made in accordance with their specifics and the possibilities for their implementation. They are divided into the following groups:

• Conventional;
• Licensed;
• Requiring approval and approval;
• Not allowed for PIs.

When opening PE, whose activities are related to ordinary species, there is no need to obtain any documents. The enterprise can start work immediately after passing the state registration. The entrepreneur in this case himself determines the list of necessary property, staff and so on. What areas of activity are licensed?

The activity subject to licensing is specified in the special law "On licensing of certain types of activities". To open an enterprise working in this direction, a businessman must obtain a license. Along with submitting an application to the authorized bodies, the entrepreneur must submit there a package of documents that would confirm compliance with the license requirements.

To find out what areas of activity there are, requiring permits and approvals, it is necessary to look at a certain list of available species. As a rule, they include various supervisory services that control certain spheres of life, for example, veterinary services and so on.

When a business is opened that relates to all of the above activities, the IP must only go through the mandatory registration procedure and obtain authorization documents in accordance with the procedure established by law. But there is also a list of those activities that are not allowed for private entrepreneurs. These types include economic sectors related to the defense complex, the financial sector, as well as industries that affect the safety of citizens, their health and life.
