War movie "Burnt by the Sun-2: Anticipation": actors, roles, short story

In the film "Burnt by the Sun-2: Anticipation" the actors continued the story line of the previous tape entitled "Burnt by the Sun", which received an Oscar in 1995. However, the second part of the epic did not have such success as the first. With what new tragedies will the old characters of the film collide?

Creators and a short plot of the picture

The film "Burnt by the Sun-2: Anticipation" was filmed by Nikita Mikhalkov in 2010. Mikhalkov was used to doing his projects from and to, and this time he also remained true to himself: the director simultaneously acted as producer and script writer of the tape.

Together with Mikhalkov, Gleb Panfilov (a talented Soviet director) and screenwriter Rustam Ibragimbekov also worked on the script. Ibragimbekov also wrote screenplays for such films as The White Sun of the Desert, The Siberian Barber, and The Story of the Chekist.

The co-producer of the project was Leonid Vereshchagin, who performed similar functions in Soviet times during the filming of "Dear Elena Sergeevna", "Station for Two" and "Cruel Romance."

As for the plot of the film, the old characters are again in the bind, only during the Great Patriotic War. Sergei Kotov manages to avoid being shot, and he gets into the penal battalion. And the colonel of the NKVD Arsentyev himself Stalin gives an order to find a counter-revolutionary figure.

After spending some time in the camps, Sergei goes to the penal battalion. However, soon to Stalin comes information that his order is not completed, and the accused of treason remained alive. Again, Kotov's soul is sent to the NKVD officer Arsentyev.

Nikita Mikhalkov often takes his main role in his directorial work. So it was in the paintings "My own among strangers", "The slave of love" and in many other films.

In the 94th he played the main role in the Oscar-winning band "Burnt by the Sun", in the 96th he appeared in the legendary "Caucasian Prisoner". Then there were no less significant pictures for Russian cinema: mini-series "Doctor Zhivago", melodrama "The Barber of Siberia" and drama "East-West".

In the film "Burnt by the Sun-2: Anticipation" actors Menshikov and Mikhalkov play competitors, and in every sense: they compete for the favor of Marousi, are on opposite sides of the barricades. But in the final picture they have to understand that in this internecine war there will be no winners.
