In 1983, the couple had a daughter, Vika, who became the only child in the family. In 1989, the couple divorced, after which the actress did not marry again. Vika graduated from the Moscow Institute of Culture with a red diploma.

Until the last days of Arkharova, Lyudmila Dmitrievna worked, working with the children's choir at St. Matron's Church. Feeling unwell, I tried to rely more on God's help than doctors. She died on 30.09.2012 from acute heart failure, and remained in the hearts of the audience a sincere brave girl named Nadya Ogarysheva.
