After that Zakharchenko Vitaly Yurievich (whose family, of course, followed him) was forced to leave the territory of his country. At first he went to the Crimea, then went to Russia, where he got citizenship and stayed on permanent residence.

experience

For a long time the future minister worked in the internal affairs bodies. Between 1984 and 2008, he held various operational positions, and also worked in leading positions. In 2008, he resigned from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in retirement by age, while receiving the rank of Major-General of the militia. Further little more than a year, from 2008 to 2009, Zakharchenko Vitaly Yurievich is appointed deputy chairman of the STA (tax administration) in the Poltava region.

Close friend of Yanukovych, Jr.

Many describe Zakharchenko as a strong-willed person who, from his youth, had great ambitions. He always aspired to leading positions and by virtue of his character never agreed to play secondary roles. But while further rapid growth in the career of Vitaly Yuryevich is attributed not to his character, but to the fact that he was close to the family of Yanukovych - the then acting president of Ukraine. A well-known fact is that the future minister was in close friendly relations with the son of the president - Alexander. In December 2010, Zakharchenko was appointed head of the tax service of Ukraine. And already in 2011 Viktor Yanukovych with his decree dismisses the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and appoints Zakharchenko in his place. Thus, a new Minister of Internal Affairs appeared in Ukraine.

Sad events of 2014

For three years, Zakharchenko was in charge of his ministry, but an unexpected end came to all in 2014. The notorious events of EuroMaidan drew public attention to the activities of the minister. To say that the situation prevailing in Kiev was tense - not to say anything. As you know, thousands of protesters gathered at the Maidan, and this rally was originally of a purely peaceful nature. Then there was information that civilians were being shot. The media said that they shot both civilians and fighters of the Berkut detachment, but it was impossible to find out who was the instigator of the provocations. On Maidan was a complete mess, and it was clear that several dozen peaceful protesters were shot. It was these people who went down in history as the "heavenly hundred".

Removal from office

The first and main version of the one who was involved in the shooting of civilians, of course, was that the first to open fire were the fighters of the "Berkut" detachment (which after these unfortunate events was disbanded in Ukraine). Since Zakharchenko was the minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who directly supervised and gave orders to this special unit, he was accused of mass executions.

02/21/2014 Vitaly Zakharchenko by decision of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was promptly removed from the execution of his duties. He was accused of exceeding his official powers, the execution of illegal orders, and also the fact that he ordered the use of firearms against civilians. It was stated that his actions violated a number of constitutional rights of Ukrainian citizens.

Hasty move to Russia

After such accusations, the ex-minister, of course, hurried to leave the country. At first, the Ukrainian media announced the information that Vitaly Yuryevich left the territory of Ukraine on the night of February 21-22, 2014 and went to neighboring Belarus. From his country he fled in a car, which was accompanied by soldiers of the detachment "Falcon". On the afternoon of February 22, information appeared that the Prime Minister was seen at the Donetsk airport, from where the border guards did not let him out, and the minister disappeared from the airport. After that, for a very long time, until April 2015, Zakharchenko's whereabouts were unknown.

The former ex-minister made its mark only in the spring of 2015. He gave an interview on Channel One and stated that now he has Russian citizenship and he lives with his family, respectively, on the territory of Russia.

A lot of revelations and opening of a criminal case

Even when Zakharchenko was in a high ministerial post, the press periodically had various publications in which it was said that Vitaly Yurievich and his family were clearly not living on a ministerial salary. A special publicity was the country house, which is difficult to name differently than the mansions. This mansion is located near Kiev, in a village called Pidhirtsi. The structure occupied a very considerable territory, the length of the fence just along the road took 300 m. In addition to the main house in the territory was a separate house for protection, a garage for several cars. And very close to the mansion was built a hangar for helicopters, there is also a helipad. The question of which means Vitaly Yurievich built such a mansion, for a long time remained open.

Later, Zakharchenko was accused of illegally obtaining more than 1 million hryvnia from an advertising agency called "Zhorsonk", which he was paid as an author's reward. This amount was even declared in the ex-minister's tax declaration, that is, the receipt of money seemed legitimate. But later the investigation found that the agency "Zhorsonk" in fact was created not with the intent to conduct any activity, but in order to fictitiously launder proceeds and receipts into Vitaly Yurievich's accounts.

The accusation of a ministerial family in illegal incomes

Soon began to appear various accusations of Zakharchenko in taking large bribes. In addition, it became known that members of his family received millions of hryvnias as incomes from fictitious enterprises, among which was LLC "BF" Ukrbud ". This organization was registered in Odessa, and in 2013 it was officially declared bankrupt. In this case, relatives of Zakharchenko, namely one of his daughters, son-in-law and wife, for a long time received from the bankrupt large sums, which in total reached the figure of more than 81 million UAH.

Zakharchenko Vitaly: personal life

The ex-minister has been officially married for a long time. It is known that his wife is called Lyudmila Valentinovna, in their marriage they had two daughters. In Ukraine, Lyudmila Zakharchenko was known not only as wife of the minister, but also as a professional breeder of Maltese bolonok. This business hobby brought a woman quite a decent income, because the average cost of a dog of this breed reaches 5000 dollars. In Ukraine, Zakharchenko had his own nursery. After the events of 2014 it was announced that Lyudmila Valentinovna was selling this business. But after she went after her husband to Russia, Lyudmila continued to breed and sell Maltese Bolonok already there.

What is currently engaged in Zakharchenko

After Vitaly Yurievich received Russian citizenship, he lives with his family in Russia. And there his career is no worse than when he was at home. In 2014, a state-owned corporation called Rostek announced that Zakharchenko would work for the company as one of the advisers to the deputy general director. And in March 2015, he also became a member of the expert council under the State Duma on property issues.
