In the Leningrad region is Vishnevskoe Lake, which is the source of a small Iskritsa river. Thanks to the latter, it is associated with the Cancer reservoir and the Vuoksi pool. The exact origin, unfortunately, has not yet been clarified, but it is located in a hollow in which thawed waters previously flowed.

In summer, the water warms up to a high temperature, and along the entire depth. It has a yellow-green color, the transparency is almost zero.

Rdest, cattail, cane, egg and reed are found around the perimeter of the lake. The reservoir gradually overgrows. The strongest vegetation cover is near the point of the beginning of the Iskritsa River. This place is located near the village of Krasnoselsky.
