Within the city, the Ulyanovsk factions are represented in the number of twenty formations. Some of them have more influence, numbers and track record, while others control small areas, however, responsibility for the deed does not decrease. How do they get into groups with similar interests?

Groupings of Ulyanovsk were formed more than twenty years ago. The main gathering place was then sports halls, as people say, rocking chairs. Then such places were very popular among young people, and strong guys were always needed by criminal groups. Among people with similar hobbies, criminal attitudes began to move. Many fell into the clutches of crime through friends. Belonging to a particular formation was most often determined by the place of residence.

A typical portrait of an OPG participant is the young guy, age from thirteen to nineteen, parents have a small income. This is usually the children of workers, teachers and doctors. There are also many descendants from disadvantaged families.

How is the life of the grouping going on?

All Ulyanovsk factions have their own place of deployment. To outsiders, passage through special zones is not prohibited. The exception is only those cases when a threat of collision or reprisal is possible. Particularly hostile guests are also barred from entering. The places of collection change often enough. All the Ulyanovsk factions have the same structure. The list of so-called "posts" is determined by such parameters as age and authority. Most often, the leader of the formation is a person who has serious connections in criminal circles. Especially no one in the criminal ranks were not attracted. As part of the OPG there were people who had visited places not so remote, but there were not so many of them. At the end of a certain period, fees were collected. He also had to have an impressive appearance, to be respected by both his own and others. To be more prominent among the rest of the mass, the leader was engaged in physical training. He was clever and strong. Important for the leader are business qualities, for example, the ability to resolve contentious issues and communicate correctly. The character and psychotype of a person also plays an important role. A distinctive feature of the leader of the organized criminal group should be moderate aggressiveness.

How is the attitude of the OPG to other people expressed?

Among the individuals who are members of criminal groups, there is a clear division of the concepts "one's own" and "another's". For example, for members of "Sapley" outsiders will be "Sands" (Ulyanovsk). The group directs its destructive activity to young people who are different from them. Simply put, the object of their insults and humiliations became "botanists". They were hunted down, beaten and openly robbed. The main reason for choosing such a goal was insecurity and inability to stand up for oneself. For them, the person who can not protect his honor and dignity is not worthy of respect. Of course, the second reason was material gain. Weak members of the organized criminal group were identified by their appearance.

There were no connections and clashes with informal groups and representatives of sexual minorities. Although there are practically none in the city. Informal trends did not take root in Lenin's homeland. Also among the groups there is no dislike for representatives of another race, nationality or religion.

How are conflicts between groups resolved?

The clashes between members of various organized criminal groups are no longer a rarity. Most often, the reason for the outbreak of hostility is the desire to expand its territory and increase the sphere of influence. A similar incident occurred in 2007 in the courtyard of school No. 12. There, the relations between two neighboring OPG "Saplya" and "Sands" were clarified. As a result, six people were taken to the hospital.

Another cause of conflicts is the clarification of belonging to any formation. The grouping "KamAZ" (Ulyanovsk) was used to prove the deed, not the word. Literally in March this year, a student of the railway technical school died from the actions of this association. Such examples are innumerable.

Quite often quarrels flare up because of household trivia. But always more active is the maximal youth. Sometimes participants specifically clung to outsiders or even members of their OPG to provoke conflict. More serious disputes were resolved by the older generation. There until the fights practically did not reach, all issues were resolved diplomatically. It was peaceful actions that were considered more acceptable.

In the event that the problem was solved by force, any methods and weapons were used. But the latter was agreed in advance. Sometimes there was such a thing as fights from idleness.

What are the concepts within the group?

Never the ideology of the group did not justify cowardice. That is, to evade the fight, to shrink or surrender was unthinkable. In any conflict situation, it was necessary to fight to the last. The representative of the weaker sex was treated normally only if it corresponded to the concepts of grouping. A girl should be attractive enough, but not too vulgar or behaving defiantly. Beating their girlfriends in public for OPG girls is not allowed. By the way, exclusively women's groups also function in Ulyanovsk. A typical member of a criminal group has a sporty, strong physique. He wears black or any other dark-colored clothes. Shoes must be athletic. Practically everyone wear knitted hats.
