Tractor "Kirovets" (K-9000): technical characteristics, advantages and disadvantages

The new "Kirovets" K-9000 is designed for plowing fields, both paddock and circulating plows are used, as well as for harrowing, cultivation and other works connected with sowing of crops. The tractor can be used year-round in almost all areas where labor mechanization is needed. It should be noted that this model is not afraid of even the harshest climate, which puts it in a good light with respect to eminent competitors. "Kirovets" K-9000 refers to the 9th class (it all depends on the modification) and has a four-wheel drive for all-wheel drive.

Versions

There are 5 variants of the tractor. All versions contain in their name the abbreviation "K" and 4 digits of the model number. The first means class. Figure 9 indicates that the structure consists of a frame, part of which is articulated, and a drive on all wheels. The remaining figures indicate the power of the tractor.

Variants of execution:

• K-9000 - the basic model, which became the basis for all the others;
• K-9360 is distinguished by a motor with 354 horsepower;
• The K-9400 was equipped with an engine from the Mercedes company with a capacity of 401 units;
• The K-9450 has 455 horsepower;
• K-9520 is the most powerful version.

All tractors of this line received 516-tisilnye engines produced by Daimler AG. Available were in two versions - with a volume of 12 and 12.8 liters. Both copies were highly reliable and at the same time were quite economical. The Petersburg Tractor Plant is engaged in production. It was here that the new Kirovets K-9000 came off the assembly line.

Technical data

K-9000 is much larger than all its predecessors. Its width was 2875 mm, while the length - 7350 mm, and the height - 3720 mm. The basic model is equipped with a power plant Mercedes-Benz OM 457 LA. Power component

Depending on the version, several types of engines can be installed in the K-9000. All of them are German made by Mercedes. Among all the specimens you can find the most suitable one, because the choice starts at 11.97-liter and ends with a variant with a volume of 15.93 liters.

Regardless of the volume, all units are equipped with intercooled air, which is pressurized into the cylinders. Such motors are proof of German reliability, which makes it possible to use them in the harshest climatic conditions.

Performance Characteristics

The tractor with the K-9000 index has its advantages and disadvantages, which manifest themselves depending on the tasks assigned to it. The power unit developed on advanced technologies is not the only parameter that Kirovets can boast of. All models have excellent operational data.

Most of the changes in the new tractor touched its frame, which received a safety margin of twice as much as its predecessors. Do not forget the engineers and the leading bridges. The presence of large-diameter wheels with wide tires increased the permeability and reduced the specific pressure on the soil. Under certain conditions, the installation of twin wheels is provided.

The gears of the leading bridges also improved. Now they have become reinforced, with a significantly improved accuracy class. The checkpoint, produced at the same plant, also underwent modernization. The most powerful engines are paired with a hydromechanical gearbox, which can provide the most efficient operation. Ergonomics

For comfortable and comfortable work of the operator, a new cabin was created with observance of all modern requirements for safety standards. Air conditioning and audio equipment are standard equipment in which the Kirovets tractor is supplied. The price of the complete set is much higher than the base, but here it is planned to install additional climate control, as well as a navigation system.

Improved attachments allow working with all types of aggregates used in agriculture. For the normal operation of the hydraulic system, an axial-piston pump with a capacity of 190 l / min is installed.

Cost

"Kirovets" K-9000 - one of the most expensive models in the domestic market. This is compensated by high performance and reliability. The price was affected by the use of foreign-made units. On average, you can buy a tractor for 6.5-9 million rubles, it all depends on the number of additional equipment and modernization.

Advantages and disadvantages

The main advantage of the technique is high performance, reliability and durability. This makes the tractor an excellent tool for investment. At the same time, high cost in the maximum configuration can scare away many farmers. There are practically no analogues of this model. The predecessor K-744 is able to compete, but in a number of parameters, the K-9000 loses. KhTZ models lose by their capacity, but are capable of carrying out similar tasks.
