Socio-psychological training is one of the methods of psychological impact, as well as social impact, carried out in the process of group interaction. Such trainings are aimed at increasing the level of competence in the sphere of interaction and communication.

In our country, the term "socio-psychological training" appeared thanks to the works of German psychologists.

As already mentioned above, one of the main tasks of this kind of training is to teach communication. In general, it should be noted that socio-psychological trainings can pursue different goals: teaching business conversation, peacefully resolving conflicts, developing specific social skills. And so on. Some of them teach people to adequately perceive the current situation, to analyze it and not to grab for the first available solutions.

The process of acquiring experience, as well as new knowledge, will pass as it should, only if the members of the group show proper activity. Yes, the principle of activity in this case is extremely important. It is thanks to him that people can learn new knowledge, develop and consolidate new behaviors, learn how to interact with others differently.

Important in socio-psychological training is the principle of feedback. On this principle, the acquisition of a new emotional, perceptual and cognitive experience is based. In the practice of socio-psychological training, conditions that are an indispensable prerequisite for feedback are empirically identified.

As a rule, socio-psychological training is conducted in groups of eight to twelve people. The professional psychologist who has passed special training should supervise over all process. Typically, the cycle enters from thirty to fifty hours. In general, we note that the duration directly depends on the tasks originally assigned.

According to statistics, we can conclude that the short training does not give the desired positive result. Do not forget that the program of socio-psychological training is something complex and carefully thought out. Excluding something from it, you can ruin everything thoroughly.

Classes can be conducted daily or at short intervals. Usually these intervals do not occur more than three days. In some cases, marathons are used - that is, eight sessions a day are held per day. The goals of such marathons are unusual and specific.

Methodological techniques that can be used in the process of socio-psychological training, are different. These include group discussion, non-verbal techniques, various kinds of role-playing games, and so on. The effectiveness of socio-psychological training can be increased through the use of illustrations, video and audio recordings. In some cases, the training itself is recorded, and then the record is put up for discussion by its participants.

Socio-psychological training is often used to train any professionals. Such specialists include teachers, doctors, managers, trade workers, psychologists and so on.

It is believed that socio-psychological training can help solve a number of psychological problems. These are problems like excessive shyness, shyness, inability to correctly express their thoughts, speak in public, communicate with representatives of the opposite sex. Yes, indeed, this kind of trainings helped many people get rid of the most serious complexes, survive the loss of close people, find a new meaning of life after the familiar world collapsed.
