The postponement, release and terms of conscription

What is the call-up for military service? In fact, this is a set of measures aimed at staffing various troops with the goal of ensuring the security of the country. In Russia only healthy young men of legal age and not older than 27 years old are attracted to the service.

Few know that the terms of conscription into the army differ in the country depending on the region of residence. If in the spring the young people should come to the military commissariat for service from 01.04 to 15.06, then the residents of regions equal to the Far North, and citizens living in the Far North, the arrival period is shifted. For these categories of the population, the terms of conscription are set from 01.05 to 15.07. In the same period, future recruits engaged in pedagogical activity of educational institutions should come to the military registration and enlistment office. Let us consider in more detail the reasons why a potential recruit can be released from service.

1. Of course, in the first place, this is a state of health. A citizen, whom doctors admitted to when passing the medical board was limited to fit or unfit for military service, from her will be released.
2. They can be released from service in Russia if he has already served in another country.
3. If he has a degree.
4. If this citizen has chosen an alternative service.
5. If he is the son (brother) of a serviceman who died while carrying a military duty, or who is on duty and died while performing military duties. Either injured or injured while carrying a service that caused death on arrival.
6. If he is at the time of conscription to prisoners, he is serving a sentence in a colony, a prison or in correctional labor. If a citizen has been tried before or is under investigation, he will not be called up either.

Obviously, there are not so many reasons to release the recruit from the service. On the other hand, you can take advantage of the delay. It is given in the following categories:

1. Young people under the age of 20 who receive general, primary or secondary education.
2. Students who receive higher education in full-time education (deferred until the end of training).
3. Deputies for the period of their authority.
4. Men who are at the time of conscription in an official marriage, having one child and expecting a second child, if the wife is more than 26 weeks pregnant.
5. For young people with two or more children.
6. Conscripts raising a disabled child under 3 years of age.
7. To single fathers.
8. To the young men guarding the minor brother or sister under the law (under condition of absence of other trustees).
9. Men who are engaged in constant care for close incompetent needy relatives (grandmother, uncle, parents), provided that there are no other persons capable of carrying it out.
10. Those who are recognized as temporarily incompetent (for a period of up to a year), for example, in obtaining a fracture that requires a long recovery.

The conscript must come to the meeting of the special commission and a medical examination on the agenda. In the case of a successful medical examination, he must appear on the specified dates for military service on distribution. At the moment, soldiers are called for a year.
