The plot analysis: "Testament" Lermontov M.Yu.

Many admirers of Lermontov's creativity call his poem "Testament" prophetic, in it he seemed to foresee his death and said goodbye to the surrounding world. In fact, this work has nothing to do with the writer, he wrote it in 1840 in the form of a confession of a wounded hero who has only a few days left to live, or even hours. At first glance, no coincidence with the fate of Mikhail Yurievich shows no analysis. "Testament" Lermontov is dedicated to all soldiers serving in the army of tsarist Russia.

According to the plot in the poem describes the fate of a wounded soldier talking with a friend. The hero asks to fulfill his last will, he understands that no one is waiting for him, he does not need anyone, but if anyone asks about him, then the comrade must say that the soldier was shot in the chest and honestly died for the tsar. The soldier notes that the friend is unlikely to find a friend alive, but if they are not dead, then upset the old people and says he does not need to die. The truth can be told only to the neighbor, in which the hero was once in love. She will sincerely cry, but will not take to heart his death.

Who was the hero of the poem, does not show analysis. "Testament" Lermontov allows you to look at the life of a simple Russian soldier of the XIX century. At that time, the army was called for 25 years, during this period, many died in wars, and those who stayed alive, no one was waiting for. The poet tells of an ordinary peasant boy whose fate was crossed out. Once he had a family, beloved, but the army took everything from him. The neighbor girl already forgot about his existence, parents died. The hero is not even saddened by his rapid demise, he has nothing on this earth - this is what analysis shows.

"Testament" Lermontov contains a hidden meaning. The poet seems to foresee that his life will be short and intuitively seeking death. Many researchers of Mikhail Yurievich's works and literary critics come to the conclusion that this poem can be considered prophetic, and the author himself possessed the gift of foresight. Perhaps Lermontov's "Testament" was written, not at all considering himself, but there are some parallels between his life and the fate of the unknown soldier.

First, the writer, just like his hero, died from a bullet in the chest, but not on the battlefield, but in a duel. Secondly, the poem "Testament" Lermontov wrote when his parents were no longer alive, the grandmother remained, but he did not consider her a close person and had conflicting feelings for her. The image of a neighbor Mikhail Yurievich could be written off from many women, whom he admired and considered his muses. Most likely, he had in mind Varvara Lopukhin - this is what this analysis points out.

"Testament" Lermontov has some inconsistencies with the life of the author himself. In the poem, the situation is presented in such a way that the girl forgot about the hero, but in fact it was Mikhail Yurievich who broke off relations with the woman he idolized, believing that he could not make her happy. Varvara Lopukhina herself felt sorry for the rest of her days that she could not spend the last months of his life with his beloved.
