The pistol "Chezet". Characteristics and photos of the "Czech miracle"

Today there is a wide variety of different models of pistols. Among them, on a special account - such classic examples of firearms, as all known "Colt M1911" and "Beretta 92". They are recognized as the standard and are the basis for the creation of many other models. Among them - a unique Czech weapon, a pistol "Chezet".

Cz 52. The history of the appearance of the first model

In 1950, the designers "Brothers Jan and Yaroslav Kratochvili specially created for the Czechoslovak army pistol" Chezet 52 ".

In the production process, employees of the plant Ceska zbrojovka Strakonice were involved. Initially, the first pistol "Chezet" Was designed for the ammunition of "Parabellum" caliber 9x19 mm. But later, According to the Warsaw Treaty on the Unification of Ammunition, the design of the Czech pistol was altered to a caliber of 7.62x25 mm. The transformation of weapons was carried out by the Czech designer Jiri Cermak in the town of Uhersky Brod. In addition to changing the caliber, the self-cocking regime was also abolished. After all the changes in 1952, the pistol "Chezet" Was adopted as an Automaticky Pistole Vz / 52. This model was used until 1975.

Design Features

The pistol "Chezet" The 52nd year of production is equipped with an automatic system that operates on the principle of kickback with a short stroke of the barrel. The two rollers and the slider in the construction provide locking of the barrel channel. They are located in the back of the barrel and enter the internal grooves-notches in the casing of the bolt. When carrying out the shooting of all the cartridges available in the store, the shutter casing is shifted to the rear position and fixed there by means of a built-in gate delay. The trigger guard in its base has a two-sided barrel contactor. As an aiming device, an uncontrolled fly and a rear sight are used. The latter is fixed in the groove, which is called the "swallowtail", and involves the implementation of lateral corrections.

The device of the shock-trigger mechanism

The pistol "Chezet 52" is equipped with a shock-trigger system, which belongs to the trigger type.

It is distinguished by a single action and a safety cocking platoon. The flag guard acts as a safety lever when the trigger is released from the platoon. It is located on the left side of the frame. The fuse has three modes:

  • The shooting mode (the flag safety device is lowered to the lower position);
  • Safe trigger trigger with platoon (fuse raised up);
  • The gun is on the fuse (the fuse in the middle position).

Punching quality of cartridges

The initial speed of the bullet is 560 m / s. Her achievement was made possible through the use of an increased charge of gunpowder. Such a munition creates a high pressure of powder gases in the barrel of the weapon. It can not be used for other brands of pistols designed for conventional cartridges, since there is a risk of a rupture of the barrel. The use of breakthrough cartridges distinguishes military pistols designed to defeat the enemy in body armor or protected by shelter. From a distance of 50 meters, a regular Czech cartridge punches a sheet of steel with a thickness of 0.6 cm. It provides a flat trajectory of the bullet's flight. This gun is suitable for aiming at different distances thanks to the convenient handle, which is equipped with a pistol "Chezet".

Characteristics

  • The caliber is 7.62x25 mm.
  • The length of the trunk is 12 cm.
  • The length of the pistol is 21 cm.
  • The height is 14 cm.
  • The width of the gun is 3 cm.
  • The weight of the weapon without cartridges is 960 g.
  • The magazine of the pistol is designed for 8 rounds.
  • The color of the weapon is gray. The matte coating is applied by phosphating and black blacking methods.
  • Bakelite handles have large horizontal incisions. With the help of special staples they are mounted on the pistol "Chezet". The photo below shows the features of the external design of the weapon.

disadvantages

Model Cz 52 in our time is considered a rarity and is valued as a unique weapon, which has some disadvantages:

  • The presence of a strong and sharp feedback when shooting.
  • The brittle steel of the drummer is prone to frequent breakages in the event of inept use of the pistol. Descending trigger requires skills in possession of weapons.
  • Manual fuse control complicates the operation process. Automatic triggering of the trigger results in spontaneous shots, especially when the impactor is damaged. The fuse is switched on only after the trigger has been released manually.
  • With unskilful care of the Cz 52, rusting of the barrel is possible.
  • If improper heat treatment is likely the appearance of cracks in places with high load.
  • The gun due to the long barrel length is not intended for concealed wearing.
  • Cz 52 can not be used for self-defense, because of the breakthrough quality of cartridges, there is a risk of third-party damage.
  • The caliber of 7.62x25 mm is not designed to quickly neutralize the enemy.

Nowadays Cz 52 is a collection weapon and can be used for entertaining shooting.

Model Cz 75

In 1975, at an exhibition in Madrid, experts and fans of firearms first saw the Czech pistol "Chezet" 75. Its design is very popular and copied in the manufacture of other models. The developers of the design of the gun are the brothers Yosef and Frantisek Coaches. Work on the product was carried out at the plant Ceska zbrojovka. The aim of the project was to manufacture weapons for export to Turkey, Iran, Iraq, since the army of Czechoslovakia had already been equipped with Cz 52 pistols. Nowadays, the Cz 75 is used by large police departments of the United States of America. The model gained wide popularity due to such distinctive qualities as reliability of construction, accuracy of shooting, well thought-out ergonomics and low cost.

Variations

  • The most common version of the pistol "Chezet" is a weapon designed for the cartridge "Parabellum" 9x19 mm, - the pistol "Chezet 775". Along with the Glock and Beretta 92 models, it is used by prosecutors and investigators of the Russian Federation as weapons for personal self-defense.
  • Cz 97. Increased version of Cz 75. Modification of the pistol under the caliber 9x19 mm is exported to those countries in which the ban on military ammunition. Mostly it is the market of the United States of America, where this model is very popular.
  • The Czech "Cadet". Training, entertaining or traumatic gun. "Chezet 75" (model "Cadet") is equipped with a set of parts necessary for the conversion of finished weapons for use in firing ammunition caliber 5.6 mm. For these cartridges, ring ignition is typical.
  • Cz 75 Automatik. It was developed in 1992 on the basis of the model of the 75th year. Automatic modification is designed for shooting bursts (1000 shots per minute). The pistol is securely held by a special fastener, which performs two functions - it is used as a front handle and a spare pistol shop. Some samples at the very beginning of production had an elongated trunk - a compensator. Over time, this modification of the Cz 75 was made with a standard trunk.

  • Cz 75 P-01. It is a compact model of the Czech pistol. Since 2001 it has been used by the Czech police.

  • Cz 75 Semicompakt. This is a miniature model, characterized by a smaller handle, the capacity of the magazine and the length of the barrel. The gun has a small weight, since its construction is based on an aluminum frame, rather than steel.

How does Cz 75 work?

  • The entire series of pistols is equipped with an automatic system that uses recoil energy in the short stroke of the barrel.
  • With the help of two combat stop-protrusions, the barrel is locked. There is an interaction between the figured cutout, located under the barrel in the tide, and the shutter lever.
  • The production of the frame and the shutter uses high-quality steel.
  • The frame inside has guides, along which the bolt executes its movement. Thus, the shutter casing moves along the inner guides, and not along the outer guides. This has a beneficial effect on the life of the weapon.
  • The trigger hammer and trigger mechanism is designed for double action. On the left side of the frame is a fuse. On the same side there is a lever that performs the gate delay.
  • Sights are identical to the Cz 52. But unlike 52-year-old weapons, "Chezet 75" is equipped with fifteen cartridges, and later the capacity of the pistol shop increased by one more cartridge.

What happens during the shot?

The design of the model uses the Browning automation system, which is considered the most reliable and easy to implement. It is used in the designs of many models of automatic pistols.

  • In the upper part of the trunk there are special protrusions, which adhere to each other with the trunk and the bolt. They come into motion under the action of propellant gases during the shooting. This process appears as a result of attempts of powder gases to push the sleeve out of the bolted chamber.
  • The bolt and barrel that come into motion lower the breech of the pistol, so that the barrel, leaving the clutch, stops its movement.
  • The extraction of the barrel from the chamber, its ejection and the cocking of the trigger are made by the shutter casing. On it begins to act as a return spring, which pushes the casing back. Moving back, the bolt extracts a new cartridge from the pistol shop, sends it to the chamber.
  • During the movement of the gate casing forward, the breech part of the trunk is lifted, subsequently the barrel and the bolt are engaged for the next cycle.

The "Chezet" pistol, a specific and original product of the Czech arms industry, is the most extraordinary example of short arms.
