The necessary diet for liver disease

The modern rhythm of life, the negative impact of various factors often lead to impaired health and liver diseases in humans. A necessary method of treatment is a diet in case of liver disease, due to which it is possible to normalize the condition and speed up the process of organ restoration.

It should be noted that the liver is one of the organs of the abdominal cavity, which takes a direct part not only in the digestive, but also in the metabolic process of substances and blood in the body. Also contributes to the removal of harmful toxins that enter in together with food, air, water, etc.

The main task of organizing the patient's proper nutrition is to ensure normal conditions for the functioning of the diseased organ. First of all, it should be remembered that a diet in case of liver disease should be selected by a specialist depending on the severity, form and variety of the disease. Such a diet should have a gentle effect on the mucous membranes of the internal organs of digestion and help restore the lost functions of the liver. For example, a diet with acute liver disease is provided by a maximally strict table to rule out complications. Chronic forms of diseases involve more free food.

As a rule, a diet with liver disease is a certain way of heat treatment of foods. The main ones are cooking, stewing and steaming. This is due to the fact that in diseases of the liver and digestive tract organs categorically contraindicated fried, sharp, fatty dishes that cause irritation of the walls and mucous membranes. Irritation leads to increased pain and more frequent spasms that can lead to death.

Diet for pain in the liver is aimed at reducing the load on the affected organ, which can have various chemicals. Despite this, the body must receive a sufficient amount of vitamins and trace elements necessary for the functioning of other human systems. As you know, table number 5 suggests reducing the number of foods based on refractory fats, cholesterol, nitrogenous substances, etc. Also, it is not recommended to abuse cold and carbonated drinks, alcohol, chocolate, coffee, spicy seasonings and spices, which leads to aggravation of the patient's condition. To ensure that the body does not lose fat, the diet for liver pain includes dishes cooked with the addition of vegetable oils (for example, linseed, olive, soybean, corn and others).

Particular attention should be given to the frequency of meals. The best option is to eat small portions in a short time. The average number of receptions is at least five per day. The liquid that enters the body can be in the form of compote from dried fruit or herbal tea, since they possess choleretic action. For example, it is a broth of chamomile, dog rose, immortelle, chicory root or dandelion. It is also recommended to use natural vegetable and fruit juices, which supplement the vitamin supply and have a beneficial effect on the liver. An exception is considered to be tomato juice, as it in large quantities causes unpleasant and even painful sensations in the stomach.

Even with incurable liver diseases (for example, cirrhosis) adherence to a specially selected diet allows you to lead an active and full life through partial restoration of functions. Of course, a diet is an additional method of treatment. The main is the conduct of medication (taking medications, physiotherapy, therapy and others).
