The generic certificate improves the quality of medical care

Over the past six years, Russia has a generic certificate. This concept arose together with the national project "Health", which is aimed at the material interest of medical institutions in providing high-quality medical care.

What is a generic certificate for?

Under this program, it becomes profitable for medical workers to provide medical assistance to future mothers. This is done to minimize the number of abortions and thereby increase the birth rate. The generic certificate enables a pregnant woman to conduct an independent choice of a woman's consultation, as well as a maternity hospital. All this forces health workers to provide quality services, otherwise they will be left without work.

The birth certificate is valid in all maternity hospitals, which have a license and an agreement with the Social Insurance Fund, it is the source of funding.

The certificate can be obtained from a women's consultation, for women with a gestational age of 30 weeks. The main condition for obtaining a generic certificate is that a woman has to be registered in this consultation for at least 12 weeks, if these rules are not followed, the receipt of a certificate and payment for services is impossible.

It's not terrible, if a woman does not have a residence permit, she can get such a generic certificate at her place of residence. It will be issued the same certificate, only it will contain a note indicating the reason for the absence of registration. Get this document can not only Russian citizens, but also all who are legally residing in Russia. The issuance of this certificate does not depend on the age of the pregnant woman, her status and whether she works or not.

In order to obtain a certificate it is necessary to show a document that proves the identity, it is necessary to have a medical and pension insurance policy, in case of a paid consultation, you need an appropriate document that confirms this.

If you do not have insurance policies, this is not the reason for not issuing a certificate, it merely indicates the reason why they are absent, but in the absence of documents proving the identity and legality of residence in the territory of the Russian Federation, the certificate will not be issued.

The generic certificate consists of:

• Coupon number 1, which is needed to pay for services provided to a pregnant woman in the first stage of pregnancy in medical institutions;
• Coupon number 2, which is intended to pay for services provided to women in maternity hospitals or perinatal centers;
• Coupon number 3, which was introduced in 2007 and allows you to pay for the child's follow-up before reaching the age of one year.

After the first coupon is provided, the women's consultation will receive money, of which the third part will go to purchase medicines needed for the provision of services, about 40% to pay for the work of medical workers, and the rest for the development of this institution.

The coupon number 2 is provided in the maternity home, whereby it also receives cash, half of which goes to pay, and the remaining half to upgrade equipment and purchase of medicines.

The generic certificate can be used to obtain medical services, which are provided by the state program. Additional services, such as a TV or a single room, are paid by patients separately.

The received coupons, or rather their roots, are given to the doctors themselves by future mothers. If they believe that the quality of the services provided was low or some services were not provided, women are entitled to complain to the appropriate authorities.
