The airport of France is an important transport artery of the country

As you know, France is an important tourist destination. Many modern travelers want to see with their own eyes the famous Eiffel Tower, admire the unique landscapes that open on the shores of Normandy, sunbathe on the Cote d'Azur and taste the divine French wine. That is why the airport of France can be justifiably considered an important transport point of the whole country.

Today I propose to talk mainly about two of them.

Airport of France. The well-known Charles de Gaulle

It is quite deservedly called the main air gate of the country. It is hard to imagine that every day more than 150,000 passengers pass through it, traveling to different corners of the globe.

Charles de Gaulle was built long ago, in 1974. And since then, its territory has been expanded several times and reconstructed. One can not but note the fact that these transparent corridors with internal escalators have become places for shooting modern films, both documentary and artistic.

However, glass corridors are not the only characteristic feature of this place. All international airports of France are famous for their high level of service. Here, for example, Charles de Gaulle can boast of the presence of new, ultra-modern and very comfortable terminals.

By the way, Russian-speaking passengers can not but be pleased with the fact that starting in 2013 all announcements in the halls intended for luggage delivery sound not only in French and English, but also in our native language. In addition, here you can immediately and absolutely free to get an airport map and a map of Paris in Russian. Trifle, but nice!

This airport in France is built in such a way that the incoming passengers get the impression that they are going for suitcases and bags, just make an exciting trip through the modest streets of the capital. There are a lot of shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants, each of which is made in the national style.

Airport of France. Marseille Provence

France ... Airports here play a very important role, and the second most important after Charles de Gaulle can safely be called Provence, located at a distance of 30 km from the famous tourist destination of the city of Marseille. In total, about seven and a half million travelers are served here a year.

There are only 4 terminals at the airport, but here is the main hub of the leading airline of the country Air France.

Note that these air gates are both the oldest and one of the newest in the country. How can this be so? First of all, let's pay attention to the fact that the object itself was built almost 100 years ago, in 1934. However, after the Second World War it had to be completely restored from the ruins, and the reconstruction was delayed until 1961. Nowadays, after the global change of leadership, the building and the technical part have been almost completely modernized, having bought new and very modern equipment.

Now he is preferred by those who aspire to comfort for relatively little money, and a splendid transport interchange plays a significant role in this. The center of Marseille is relatively inexpensive to be reached either by a special shuttle, or by a regular shuttle bus or taxi.
