Than stuffed tartlets?

Tartlets, and simply baskets of dough, with a variety of fillings - an ideal dish for a trendy buffet, and for children's holiday, and for friendly gatherings with a bottle of wine. There are two important ingredients in preparing this snack. This is, first of all, fillings for tartlets (see what we learn about the tartlets a little later) and the dough from which they are made. The most common tartlets are from sand and puff pastry.

How to cook a short dough? Shortbread is kneaded from chopped ice butter (70 grams), ice water (25 ml) and a glass of flour. The dough should be kneaded very quickly, soaked in cold water with your hands. Then the dough should be formed into a bowl, wrapped with food film and put into the refrigerator for at least an hour. After that, roll out the dough into a layer 0.5 cm thick and cut out the circles into the size of the molds. Bake at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes in oiled molds.

To a simpler version of the preparation of tartlets, it is possible to include tartlets from the finished puff pastry. It is necessary to give the test to come up at room temperature, roll it into a thin layer and cut out 2 kinds of circles of the same diameter: with a round hole in the middle (tartlet walls) and without a hole (the bottom of the tartlet). Fold the circles together (the circle with the hole should be at the top), for the reliability of the "fastening" place, grease the egg or water. Bake at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Well, the simplest and most reliable option is just to purchase ready-made tartlets in the store. In addition, now supermarkets and bakeries offer a large selection of tartlets from a variety of dough, all kinds of shapes and sizes. I bought it, made a stuffing - and voila! A beautiful festive dish is ready! Fast and convenient, especially when the guests are on the doorstep.

And than stuffing tartlets? Fillings for tartlets can be very different: sweet, salty, sharp, each chooses to its own taste. The main rule: they must have a minimum of fluid!

How can I stuff tartlets? For example, cheese with garlic and spicy greens. Grate soft cheese on a fine grater, add a little natural yogurt, chopped garlic and greens to your choice (parsley, dill, basil, shnit-onion, watercress, arugula, thyme), salt, black pepper. Decorate the finished tartlet can be leafy greens.

More than stuffing tartlets? You can, for example, shrimp and mashed avocado. Whole peeled prawns sprinkle with soy sauce, pepper and quickly fry in olive oil. Avocado peel and mash with a fork in mashed potatoes, add crushed garlic, salt, a little lemon juice. In the tartlet, put the avocado puree, decorate with fried shrimp and a thin slice of lemon.

The third option than to fill the tartlets? You can mushroom caviar. On olive oil fry chopped onions and garlic, add finely chopped mushrooms and cook until ready. Pour in the fatty cream, stir and evaporate until thick. We remember: the excess fluid is useless! Salt and pepper. Ready tartlets can be decorated with leaves of parsley.

And the last option than stuffing tartlets. It's chicken and pineapple. Finished smoked chicken fillet finely chopped, mixed with finely chopped canned pineapple. Add freshly ground black pepper and a bit of natural yogurt. Ready tartlets can be decorated with a beautiful slice of pineapple.
