The recipe for cherry tincture

Ripe cherries to sort out so as not to fall into rotten berry or immature. In clean jars (preferably 3 liters) to fill berries on the shoulders. A good clean vodka or alcohol with water (not tap water!) In a proportion of 50 x 50 pour so that all the cherries were covered with a liquid about 1-2 cm. Attach a date sticker to the can, cover it and leave it for two weeks for infusion. Can be kept at room temperature or in the cellar.

When after 14 days the liquid level will decrease and its color will change (it will become saturated), drain the tincture into another glass jar and put it in a cool place. And the berries in the bank are covered with sugar (500 g per jar) and we insist for another 14 days. Do not forget to shake them periodically so that cherry syrup stands out well. At the end of the second week, we drain the juice into a separate glassware.

We add water (not from a water pipe!) Approximately half a liter to a jar of cherries and again for two weeks we put it away in a dark place. At this stage, the cherry tincture should also be shaken periodically.

The recipe assumes that at the end of the period (6 weeks in total), all liquids obtained as a result of cooking must be combined together. The taste is very pleasant, sweet and sour, and the drink is very fragrant. The fortress is not more than 25 degrees. Drink for the ladies ready!

Cherry tincture at home

An original recipe with a unique taste, which gives the infusion not only berries of cherries, but also the leaves of this tree. Such a cherry tincture, the recipe of which is quite simple, requires aging for about one year. We describe it step by step.

  • Prepare cherries (0.5 l), 200 cherry leaves, sugar (1 l pot), water 1 l, vodka 2 l.
  • In the pot, pour out the water, add cherry leaves and berries.
  • We put on fire to prepare cherry tincture. The recipe requires that it boil and acquire its own unique taste during a 15-minute boil.
  • Filter the liquid and add sugar. Heat again to the boiling point and cool.
  • In a cooled liquor pour vodka or alcohol, dissolved in half with pure water (boiled).

If the cherry tincture turns out a little unclear, do not panic. This drink should mature within a year. At the end of this period, it will be transparent and very tasty.
