In Russia, the history of Staropramen began in 1999: it was then that the license was acquired by OOO TransMark for beer production. Since 2000, the drink is produced in the "Kaluga brewing company". Three years later, the right to produce beer in Russia was transferred to SUN Interbrew (Klinsky Brewery). It is produced under the control of a Czech company and retains the usual characteristics. This variety has absorbed the best traditions of Czech brewing and a unique recipe, which uses special yeast used for Staropramen beer. In Russia it was initially brewed in Novocheboksarsk and Klin, and then in Omsk and Perm. The composition of the drink, made in Klin, is a mixture of the following ingredients: malt, hops, water, rice croup. Beer has a golden color, pure mild taste with light fruit notes and a rich aroma of fragrant hops. In Klin and Novocheboksarsk, a light grade of Staropramen beer is produced, which retains the characteristics of the famous Czech foam: the fortress is 4%, the density is 10 °.

Staropramen Premium

In Russia, as a rule, one can find only one brand of beer "Staropramen" - Premium. It is a classical pilzner (density - 10 °, strength - 4%). The composition of this Czech live beer, of course, is different from what is produced in Russia. Czech includes the following ingredients: pure water, hops, barley malt and brewer's yeast. In beer, domestic production, additional components are found, such as maltose syrup, corn groats, hops.

For this brand is characterized by a beautiful golden color, malt aroma has hop, lemon and bread notes, which perfectly combine in a balanced and fresh taste of a drink such as Staropramen beer. We will review customer reviews further.

Reviews

Opinions of consumers of this brand of Czech beverage have been divided: some of them maintain that Staropramen is a beer that is really worthy of all praise and has many positive qualities, while others say that it is no different from other brands of inexpensive product. However, there are more fans of this drink. Reviews of those who tried it, basically say that beer has a light, pleasant taste, without much bitterness, besides, as consumers say, the price for it is small in comparison with its quality.

If we talk about dark beer, then we can say that it has a velvety taste, leaves a pleasant and long aftertaste. The composition is almost entirely natural, except for the caramel dye. In addition, the aroma is quite interesting. The cost of a bottle of beer is about 60-65 rubles, which, according to lovers of this brand, corresponds to its quality. The drink is very good, but, according to some, there is a beer that bypasses the taste properties of Staropramen. For this reason, some consumers say that this price is too high for this product.

Some notes that the composition of beer does not meet expectations. This applies to the drink that is bottled in Russian plants. So, in its structure contains rice and corn groats, treacle. Despite this, the taste, as noted by most consumers, is still excellent.

As amateurs say, Staropramen's light beer has a somewhat bitter taste (most of this fact applies to its merits), and also golden color. In comparison with products of other manufacturers in this price category, this drink, according to the fans of the brand, is generally quite good and to taste and quality better than some advertised brands.

Some point to a synthetic flavor, which can be explained by the presence of additives. From the pros - in beer there is no taste of alcohol, but there is some slight wateriness. Those who tried the real Czech Staropramen claim that it is much better than the one that is bottled in factories in Russia, but domestic production is also quite acceptable in quality. Some say that, in spite of the rather decent quality, the product does not stand out among its kind of colleagues in particular. Leaves a good aftertaste. A certain level of quality is sustained, however, due to the fact that the beer is pasteurized, it can not show all its merits, as it can be done by the living. After its use, most consumers did not experience any side effects.

Customers note, among other things, an interesting bottle design and a green label color, the style of which tends towards retro-esthetics. Beer is sold in bottles, as well as in a tin can. Some note that in the second case the drink has a more rich and pleasant taste.

"Staropramen" has no sediment, there is no sour taste, which is available in many modern beer beverages. The foam is abundant enough, dense. Some do not like the bitterness present in the beer. Has a good balance between sweet malty and tart hop-notes, with a little sharpness. He does not have a sharp smell of beer. It is best to taste when the chilled, warm drink is harder and somewhat loses its positive qualities. He does not get drunk and drunk quite easily. However, it should be remembered that still it is an alcoholic drink and it is not worth taking a great interest in it. According to some consumers, earlier beer "Staropramen" had a better taste, now its quality has decreased, and more bitterness has appeared in it. However, the fans of this brand is not getting smaller.
