The company Sunrise loudly announced itself in 2003, opening its first three hotels in Egypt. The network is developing quite actively in the local market both due to the construction of new facilities, and by taking under its management already existing hotels.

The territory of the complex is located a short distance from Hurghada (about 30 km), but at the same time, shuttle buses and taxis allow easy access there.

The complex is built on a grand scale. Water slides, as well as five swimming pools for adults and three for children, which are heated in the winter, certainly not only beautify the territory, but also provide additional opportunities for recreation.

Number of rooms

The number of rooms in the hotel was only a little under 700. Fortunately, the territory allowed them to be placed in small two-story buildings, so that there is no overcrowding. Even the most modest rooms in the Sunrise Royal Makadi are quite impressive. But for the convenience of guests there are rooms of different types - from standard to royal suites, the area of which is more than 100 square meters.

Dining at the hotel

Guests of Sunrise Royal Makadi are offered meals on the "AI UAI" system. For the convenience of those already living, the traditional "buffet" is organized in two restaurants.

Well, if traditional food is bored with a holiday, you can eat in one of the many establishments located right on the complex. The hotel has several restaurants, where guests can taste Italian, Greek, Mexican, Asian and, most notably, Bedouin cuisine. In addition to them, there are several bars and cafes.

Beach

The hotel is located on the sea coast, so you can get to the beach by strolling through its territory. It should be noted that it is well equipped (hire of sun beds, umbrellas, towels, sports equipment).

As in most hotels in Egypt, Sunrise Royal Makadi employs a team of animators, entertaining guests from morning to evening, both with sports events, and with the organization and shows of various performances.

For those who used to relax actively, and not just basking in the sun, in the territory you can do the following sports: tennis, billiards, beach volleyball and football and, of course, table tennis. The Red Sea is a favorite place for diving and snorkeling, and the centers of water sports and scuba diving make these and other activities available for hotel guests. True, such entertainment will have to be paid additionally.

The complex is positioned as a universal place for recreation, where it is possible to have a great holiday for newlyweds, older people and, of course, families with children. About what is prepared for young travelers, it is worth mentioning separately.

When booking a room, you can request a baby bed. In the restaurants for the youngest guests there are chairs for feeding. Already the above-mentioned swimming pools, a children's playground and a club for kids from 4 years old, where Russian-speaking specialists work, will not let you get bored with your child.
