There are various sports that do not have a large set of rules, are easy to learn and allow you to have a good time with friends. Beach volleyball is one of the most common types of entertainment to date. It can be played only in the summer, but this kind of sport does not lose its charm.
Basic concepts of beach volleyball
Any sport has its own characteristics, its distinctive features that attract people and make them spend more and more time behind this occupation. Beach volleyball is a kind of classic volleyball, which is played indoors, on a special platform. The beach version of the game, which is obvious from the title, is held on the sand, so the participants go barefoot on the site. In many respects this variety is very similar to its classical prototype: the goals and methods of their achievements are the same. Two teams are trying to prevent the ball from falling on its half of the court and trying to make it fall on the opponent's half of the field. Very often play beach volleyball girls, but guys also love this sport. Moreover, if this is not a competition, then no one forbids guys and girls to play together. As for the competition part, this kind of sport is included in the program of the Olympic Games, and other championships also arouse a huge spectator interest.
Basic rules of beach volleyball
In many respects, the rules of classical volleyball have migrated to beach volleyball. The latter has, however, some differences. First of all, it is worth noting the composition of the teams: in the beach version on each side of the grid is only two people. Naturally, the size of the site is much smaller than in the classical version. In order to somehow limit the height of the ball, at the edges of the net, special stop poles are installed. The ball must fly above the net, but below the top of these poles, otherwise the team loses a point. An important point to which special attention is paid is the weather. Since the game can be seriously affected by the wind, the teams often change sides. In the course of the whole match, a change of sides occurs after every 10 points, and in the last round even more often - every five points played.
Course of the game
As in the classical version, there are filing in the beach, and players of one team are served alternately, changing after losing a pitch by one of the players. Beach volleyball provides all kinds of innings with a brush, as well as a forearm, while you can beat both standing and jumping. Moreover, it is allowed to serve both from above and from below. And beach volleyball in 2013 in this is no different from previous years. As in other rules, which in recent years have already been finally formed. A small unpleasant disadvantage is the total refusal of substitutions. Even if one of the players gets injured, because of which he can not continue the game, he will not be able to substitute. Team, whose player was injured, loses, which is not entirely fair. However, so far, no changes in the rules are foreseen, so during the game beach volleyball players need to be extremely careful not to let their team down.
