The metro station "Botanichesky Sad" was constructed from prefabricated structures (reinforced concrete). The platform is equipped with 2 rows of columns that support overlapping and divide the station into three spans.

Lamps in the caissons perfectly illuminate the path and platform. They are made of aluminum, anodized for gold. Columns of the station have a lining of light marble. The platform itself in the main hall is covered with gray granite and labradorite, and the travel walls are gray-white marble. The walls are decorated with metal panels with magnificent drawings on a variety of natural themes.

Vestibules

At the metro station "Botanical Garden" there are only 2 vestibules. The ground south, located in the park, is connected to the platform by an escalator. The underground northern vestibule is equipped with a staircase leading to the main hall.

The exits from the southern vestibule are located, as noted above, in the direction of Leonov and Wilhelm Peak streets . On the journey Serebryakov and Sneznaya Street you can get from the north exit.

Surrounding area

Near the "Botanical Garden" metro there are several schools, kindergartens and higher educational institutions. Among the latter, the most famous is VGIK. S.A. Gerasimova. Also in this area for guests there is an opportunity to stay in one of three wonderful hotels. Nearby are the Park and the territory of the All-Russian Exhibition Center.

In the territory of a huge park there are museums and other historical sights, entertainment attractions (for adults and children), cafes, sports facilities and many others. The Ostankino Park is so large that the metro station described for a few days can serve as a good starting point for a long fascinating walking route through the fairytale corners of this beautiful green zone.

Botanical Garden
