The history of the castle is sad: Vorontsov died without waiting for the end of construction, and the emperor did not have time to visit the palace, having died in 1894 in Livadia. In Soviet times, the palace was used to rest the highest party leadership of the USSR. Currently, the Massandra Palace is part of the Alupkinsky Museum-Reserve.

Rural attractions

If you move along the coastal highway from Alushta towards Feodosia, then at the 22nd kilometer, tourists will immediately discover three Crimean attractions: the villages of Solnechnogorsk, Malorechenskoye and Rybachye. At first glance, there is nothing special about the settlements, neither the palaces nor the ancient buildings. However, they embody the original nature of the peninsula, the whole history of the Crimea is concentrated in them.

Leaving on the hill, the tourist can lose the gift of speech, so beautiful is the panorama opening before him. Genoese fortress

Sudak is an ancient city

The city of Sudak is also included in the sights of the Crimea. It is famous for unique underwater pastures, starting directly from the shore and leaving for two hundred meters to the open sea. At a depth of four meters stretched vast green massifs - expanse for fish, crabs and dolphins. The Black Sea dolphins of the bottlenose dolphins visit the underwater thickets early in the morning to feed and play.
