Verba is an early spring plant. Its branches are decorated with soft buds and thin leaves.

In the Orthodox Christian Church this plant is dedicated to the Palm Sunday holiday. Materials for this application

In order to perform the application, you will need:

1. Thick cardboard of any color. The more dense the cardboard, the harder and more durable will be the appliqué "Verba". The color of the cardboard does not matter, the main thing is that it does not merge with other parts of the craft.
2. Colored paper. You will need brown, gray, green and blue paper. If desired, you can use other colors.
3. PVA glue.
4. Scissors with rounded ends. Pointed ends pose a danger to the child.
5. A simple pencil for drawing a contour, along which parts will be cut out.
6. Vata. You need ordinary medical cotton wool, discs and tips of cotton buds will not give the desired effect.
7. Felt pens of different colors.

Beginning of work. Preparing the Parts

Application "Willow branch" is feasible for independent work of small creators. Adults can help, just by drawing out the outlines, along which the details will be cut out.

1. A few fine twigs are cut from brown paper. They must be long and thin.
2. Of the green paper you need to cut a few thin short leaves, they should be 3-4 times more than the branches.
3. Of the gray cut very many small ovals, they will be the buds of willows. The buds should not be very small, because the applique "Verba" is made of cotton wool, and it is difficult to paste this cotton wool on small buds.
4. From the blue paper you need to cut out the vase. It can be of any shape, but the best one is rectangular. Instead of the blue one, you can use paper of any color, the main thing is that it does not merge with the background.
5. The cotton should be rolled into small balls. Their number should coincide with the number of gray ovals.

Assembling the applique

1. Now you need to make the volume of the vase, marking the edges of the vase with semicircular lines and finishing the back wall of the vase.
