The American comedy television series "Married with Children", whose actors were repeatedly nominated for the prestigious Emmy Award, was published from 1987 to 1997. Thanks to the overwhelming success, many countries filmed remakes on the net. In Russia, the series was also adapted and was released under the title "Happy Together".

Plot

Situational comedy tells of the hard life of an ordinary guy, El Bundy (Ed O'Neill), who lives with his family in Chicago. He is a seller of women's shoes, completely dissatisfied with his life and work. Married to Peggy (Cathy Sagal) is not the first year, but is it possible to call this marriage happy? His beloved does not cook for him, does not clean, does not work, but only does that he watches television all day long. The couple has two children: a beautiful but stupid Kelly (Christina Applegate) and a troubled Bad (David Faustino).

Each member of the family does not like each other. Continuous jokes and bullying are normal for them. But, despite this, it is almost impossible to separate them, they still stay together. The main topics that the sitcom raise are the lack of cash and potency in the main character. The series also introduces the audience to the interesting neighbors of the family: the feminist Marcy (Amanda Birz) and her husband.

Al Bundy

The head of the family, for a small fee working as a salesman in a women's shoe store, was played by Ed O'Neill. The hero's standard clothing is a blue top and a gray bottom. He does not tolerate the full women who come to him for shopping, the French, as well as his own wife and all her relatives. He loves to drink beer and watch sports channels, putting one hand in his pants. Often remembers his past successes in football. Very seldom it is washed, does not watch hygiene, and also practically does not eat. Sometimes he beat the guys Kelly's daughter, drives an old car.

Margaret "Peggy" Bundy

The role is played by the unbeaten Katie Sagal. Al's wife. Does not work, does not cook and does not go into the dwelling. Does not erase, but simply buys new things. That's why he hides an inflatable doll. The others often tease him because of failures in his personal life. The guy does not have friends and good work.

Kelly Bundy

In the series "Married and with children" the actors are selected for glory. Take at least the older child of the family, the daughter of Peggy and Ala, whose role was performed by Christina Applegate. He does not have an acute mind, he goes to school only to meet with his comrades. Periodically confused in words, which is the highlight of the series. It's not clear in the connections: Kelly has a lot of guys, and sometimes even a few at a time. Miraculously graduating from school, trying to work as a model, sometimes moonlighting as a waitress. I wanted to learn acting skills. Throughout the series, she lives with her parents and does not want to change anything in her life.

Marcy Rhoads

Jefferson D'Arcy

Nevertheless, in the series "Married with Children" actors completely coped with their roles. Until now, the sitcom remains the favorite TV series of many Americans.
