About a hundred thousand innocent people were ruined by Puritan ignorance. However, the most bloody court recognized the events in Salem (USA), where all the Salem witches were subject to severe brutality. About 20 women were executed in a short time.

She brightened the leisure of the girls, telling them about her homeland, about the magic of voodoo, and it so enticed the children's hearts, who did not see anything except the plow and the Bible, that they decided to try some spells in practice. Together with the slave they built a primitive magic ball by immersing the egg in a glass of water. For this occupation, their father found them, who did not know how to proceed further. Children, fearing reprisals, became nervous, it subsequently turned into hysteria, which soon swept all the girls in the village. A friend reported to a friend, saying that his neighbor once did something strange. The girls accused the Titul of their attacks. The doctor sent to treat the girls, only spread his hands with the words: "Bewitched." Since then, the witch hunt has been declared.

Based on the testimony of children, about 20 people were sentenced. Accused mostly those who did not go to church, did not merge with the crowd and did not enjoy a good reputation. Titles with two other women were executed first. Before the Salem witches went to be executed, they had to languish in a Boston prison for a long time, where they were denied food. Titula, by the way, not only confessed to witchcraft, but also gave out two other women of the village. Who knows, maybe these three really possessed magical charms? However, all subsequent charges were based on lies, prejudices and self-interest of neighbors. All those who even simply protested against undeserved violence and torture were shackled and convicted.

Until the end of the strange hysteria in Salem, 19 people out of 141 who were on this case were hanged, two more "Salem witches" died in prison. But the cruelest is the death of Giles Corey, an eighty-year-old landowner, who refused to say a word, knowing that his guilt will be confirmed, and then his land will not reach his ancestors. For indomitable spirit, the court sentenced him to torture. The sheriff's people put the old man on the field, covered him with a board and gradually poured stones on it, so the authorities wanted to "talk" the silent pride. However, they did not succeed, and instead of recognizing they heard Giles's death curse.

And only when it came to the accusation of his wife, Governor Phipps put an end to this insanity.

In comparison with all the inhabitants of Salem, the real "Salem witches" are the overflowing girls who have decided that they can decide the destinies of people.
