Choice of profession

Anatoly Borisovich was born in Moscow on the last day of 1930 - December 31. At that time the Kuznetsovs were huddled in a communal flat in Medoviy Lane. The head of the family was a professional singer, he worked in jazz, radio, and opera. First, his teacher, who taught stage skills, apparently noticing the student's ability to reincarnate, began to constantly tell Anatoly that the voice is a fragile thing, often disappearing, so Nina Osipovna strongly advised him on a theatrical career. The point in "seduction" was put by his cousin, by that time already a famous artist Mikhail Kuznetsov. And in 1951 Anatoly Kuznetsov decided to become an actor.

Way to the cinema

In order to ensure admission to the theater high school, Kuznetsov submits the documents at once in two: so I had to take exams at both the Shchukin school and the Moscow Art Theater school. The result was amazing: he was among the enrolled in both schools. And again, Mikhail helped in choosing, leading his brother to the main argument - the continuation of the family tradition. So in the Moscow Art Theater began the biography of Anatoly Kuznetsov as an artist.

The diploma performance on Turgenev's "The Nahlebnik" (character Kuzovkin) was held in 1955. The distribution of the young actor was waiting for a remarkable Yaroslavl Drama Theater named after Volkov, but never waited. He insisted on courting for several years.

Leaving for shooting, he tried to call Sasha almost daily. It remained to take a decisive step. Once, unexpectedly arriving in Moscow from Kiev, Anatoly Borisovich first appeared at Alexandra and from the doorstep invited her to go with him. The girl just could whisper frightened something about the parents who are in the next room. But Kuznetsov emphatically declared his intention to marry and them, to which Alexandra's mother stated that the daughter should soon go to school, and the father gave consent to the marriage. And the wedding took place.

Alexandra Anatolievna arrived safely and graduated from the directing department of VGIK, shot popular science films and faithfully waited from her husband's creative trips. • And in 1969 a masterpiece was born, and in a few months the world learned about a new cinematic legend - "The White Sun of the Desert".

Comrade Sukhov

The picture was released in 1970. Without this main role, the biography of Anatoly Kuznetsov as an artist could be completely different. But what happened happened. It is with this film and still it for millions of viewers remains ageless comrade Sukhov.

As the artist himself admitted, he was interested in looking at himself, speaking in French, then in Japanese, then in Spanish.

Ten African countries were visited by Anatoly Kuznetsov, not counting Europe, even in Mexico and Japan visited. And for some reason the image of Fyodor Sukhov was perceived by all peoples very close to the heart. Apparently, his male charisma has become international.

And in one of the eastern countries an anecdotal situation happened. Before showing a wide audience with the film met people from government structures. One of them was dissatisfied with the picture. How can this be: he has only two wives in the harem, and a Soviet soldier has nine of them.

Roles that passed by

Anatoly Borisovich never had a lack of proposals to take part in this or that picture. But here he sometimes refused works, which he later regretted. The main role in the film M. Ershov's "Native Blood" went to Evgeny Matveyev, and in the film "Chairman" Ivan Lapikov played instead .

The most insulting of the losses was Maxim Podberezovikov, an investigator from the "Beware of the car." At first this image appeared to Kuznetsov to be slyly positive and boring. But when the film came out on the screen, already at the first viewing the artist's heart contracted with resentment for himself for not attentively reading the script.

All a hundredfold later paid off in the "White Sun of the Desert". But it was here that Anatoly Kuznetsov was accidental. The role of Sukhov was approved by George Yumatov, who did not allow unforeseen circumstances to take part in the shooting, and then all rushed to look for a new challenger. One of the writers lived next to Kuznetsov, and, by chance meeting Anatoly, offered him a role. And hit the bull's-eye.

And there was also the loss of the investigator (embodied by Georgy Burkov) from the "Old Robbers", and the work went on in the famous Ryazanov "Garage" (chairman of the garage cooperative). Refused Kuznetsov and from filming in the "Prize" from S. Mikaelyan, this role went to Oleg Yankovsky.
