Salad from Peking cabbage with corn and other ingredients: fast, tasty, beautiful and simple

Salad from Peking cabbage with corn is good in itself. Especially if it is a little salt, add there chopped greens and pour with vegetable oil. This dish is quite suitable as a dietary dinner or a light side dish. But how to be in preparation for a dinner party, if the set of products is not very rich? It turns out that the absence of delicacies is not at all a reason not to receive guests or make salads. Peking cabbage, crackers, corn, some ham or meat, a spoonful of mayonnaise and a drop of imagination - that's all it takes. And if there are other products, you can slightly recast the recipe and get a new dish.

Easy salad from Peking cabbage with corn

Despite the fact that the dish is dietary, it is not a shame to serve guests. It turns out quite attractive in appearance, tasty and useful. A large red bell pepper, a can of canned corn, a large green apple, parsley greens and a bunch of green or a half of red Crimean onion are taken for 1 small head of Peking cabbage. Refueling is made from olive oil and soy sauce. You will also need lemon juice, salt, ground pepper and sugar. All the spices are to taste.

Prepare this salad of Peking cabbage with corn and pepper literally 10 minutes. And they serve it right away, until vitamins and trace elements have evaporated, there are a lot of them.

Cabbage is cut into strips or cubes, then it is salted, sprinkled with sugar and poured with lemon juice. Apple and pepper are cleaned and also grinded arbitrarily. Then the ingredients are mixed, watered with soy sauce and olive oil. When serving salad spread on a dish, sprinkle with ground pepper and chopped greens.

Caesar with chicken

Guests who prefer more nourishing food, you can offer a salad as a snack. Peking cabbage, croutons and chicken fillet are his main ingredients. In addition, they will need lemon juice, salt, pepper, mayonnaise and greens to decorate the dish. All ingredients are taken in approximately equal amounts by volume. Chicken breast is pre-brewed in salt water with a laurel leaf (or fried in a frying pan, cut into cubes). Crackers can be replaced with homemade croutons, which are made from white bread, cut into cubes and dried in the oven with a drop of olive oil. If there is a small piece of Parmesan, it will be great, but you can do without it.

So, the Chinese cabbage and chicken fillet is cut into large cubes, mixed, seasoned with mayonnaise with lemon juice, salt with pepper to taste. Decorate the dish with herbs, grated Parmesan and croutons (crackers).

Salad with ham (sausage)

Another dish, which can be both casual and festive. If there is some ham in the refrigerator, as well as products from the first recipe, you will get a more calorie, but no less delicious salad. Peking cabbage, sausage, corn, Bulgarian pepper, a little greens and onion - that's all you need. It can be best filled with mayonnaise mixed with a few drops of lemon juice.

All ingredients are cut into thin strips, except for greens and corn, and then mixed. It is not necessary to salt a dish, but it is possible (to taste). Then in the salad add finely chopped greens, corn, season with mayonnaise and serve.

With shrimps and tomatoes

If the house has seafood and any vegetables, the issue with a snack can always be considered resolved. For example, if you have tomatoes, Peking cabbage and shrimp, you can make a delicious light salad.

As a dressing, olive oil with lemon juice or low-fat mayonnaise is suitable. For 1 serving take 100 gr. Cabbage, as many peeled and boiled shrimps, 5 cherry tomatoes (or half of usual), a quarter of the Bulgarian pepper (orange or yellow). You can use greens for decoration.

Cabbage is cut into cubes, tomatoes, if large, too, cherry - in half or entirely. Greens are finely chopped, and the Bulgarian pepper is cut into small cubes or thin strips. After that, all the ingredients are mixed, spread over salads and add a spoonful of mayonnaise on top or pour oil with lemon juice. You can decorate the dish with herbs.

The benefits of Peking cabbage

In addition to its availability throughout almost the whole year, this vegetable has other positive qualities. Firstly, it is always possible to make a quick snack from it with the use of a minimum of additional products, for example a salad of Peking cabbage with corn. Secondly, you can consume it in unlimited quantities, without fear for the slenderness of the figure, because in 100 grams of the product, only 12 kcal. Thirdly, the Peking cabbage is not inferior to other types of this vegetable in terms of the content of vitamins C, A, Group B and PP (which are surprisingly well preserved for a long time), contains citric acid and carotene.

And most importantly - it is delicious and perfectly combined with any products: fish, meat, cheese and vegetables. It is for this reason that so many different salads are made from it.
