Russian Carlson: who voiced the legendary character

In Sweden they say that Carlson was not invented by Astrid Lindgren, and Karin is the daughter of this world-famous children's writer. She told her mother that when she becomes lonely, a small mischievous little man flies into the room through the window, and if any one of the adults appears, he quickly hides behind the picture. Thus was born the famous literary tandem - Kid and Carlson, who lives on the roof. After 12 years, the book was translated into Russian, and then almost immediately shot on it an animated film. The well-known Soviet animated filmmaker Boris Stepantsev offered the children's audience two series, based on the first part of the trilogy. Perhaps there would be a third, but Stepantsev did not reach her hands, because he started new projects. In the piggy bank of the painted stories there was only a filmstrip called "Carlson again mischievous." Images of heroes created by the artist Anatoly Savchenko. This is the work of his hands - the big-eyed gullible Babe, thieves-robbers, monumental Freken Bock and, of course, the charming ugliness Carlson. Who voiced favorite characters?

Inimitable voice

People's Artist of Russia Vasily Livanov recalled how unexpectedly he fell out to become the voice of Carlson drawn: the director, who wanted to make the image of the hero expressive and dynamic, could not find an actor for this role. Tried for her were the real lightsabers of the then scene - Alexei Gribov, Mikhail Yanshin, but there was no exact hit in the image. Livanov, who worked in a neighboring studio, accidentally saw the sketches of personnel and caught the similarity between the painted man with the motor and the good-natured director Grigoriy Roshal. The actor tried to parody Roshal in the image of Carlson and got into the top ten. Even Astrid Lindgren liked the voice, who during her visit to the USSR asked to introduce her to the one who voiced Carlson in the cartoon. He fell in love with the Soviet audience, from small to large.

All and Carlson

Who voiced other characters of the famous cartoon? The kid spoke in the voice of Clara Rumyanova, the only actress who received the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR just for the sound in the animation. It is interesting that her recognizable "childish" falsetto was once a low alt. In her youth, the girl seriously caught a cold and for a while only siped. And again she began to speak in a high, well-known voice. By the way, that timeless timbre, as the legendary Lebanon Sherlock Holmes says, as well as the crocodile Gene, Barmaley, Udav, Gromozek, Carlson (who voiced all these cartoon characters, it is not necessary to clarify) also appeared as a result of the common cold. On the set in 1959, the actor broke the voice, because the recording was not in a warm studio, but in the street in the conditions of wind and forty-degree cold.

In Taganrog, near the house where Faina Ranevskaya was born, there is a cafe called "Freken Bok". The great actress was also one of those who immortalized the cartoon "Carlson", who voiced the proud and despotic "Doomomitelitelnitsu."

"He flew away, but he promised to return!"

Forty years later, Russian spectators again met with a cheerful hero in a Swedish feature-length film. This time, the one who voiced Carlson, was an actor Sergei Bezrukov. Many movie lovers believe that this version of the book was much weaker than the previous one, the Soviet one. The hero lost that elusive charm that gave meaning to all his leprosy, and was just greedy, wicked and selfish. Is it because in Carlson, as Astrid Lindgren himself remarked, having gone to Russia, "is there something Russian", and therefore, understandably only to the end Russian?
